Overall Rating
I am studying in GCET Greater Noida. My overall experience here is good. The coding culture and other activities are extremely good in this College. I chose this College because it is near to my house. Another reason why I chose this College because the rules here are not that strict. The students are not required to maintain a certain percent of attendance here so it is easy to focus more on other skills rather than just focusing on academics. Various seminars and workshops are conducted in which people working in the IT sector come and guide us. They also share their experience and struggle.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Information Technology. I chose this course because I have an interest in it. This course will provides me good knowledge and enhance my skills and it will be easy for me to secure a good job in the future. For admission, the students have to qualify CUET exam and appear in the counseling. The College conducts 3 exams in a year such as 2 sessional exam and one pre University tests. The test is conducted so that the students can score good marks in the main University exams.
The fee of my course in first year was around Rs. 1,15,000/-. In rest of the years, the fee is Rs. 1,09,000/-. It provides scholarship to the students whose family income is below Rs. 2,00,000/- per annum.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are well educated and have good knowledge in their respective field. Almost all the faculty members have done Ph.D from top Institutions such as IITs, NITs, etc. They use several teaching methods. They ask questions to the students and also solve their doubts. The problem solving abilities of the teachers are very good and they prepare the students for the exams.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, GCET Greater Noida has placement cell. I don’t have information about the placements right now but my friends are there in the cell and they have told me that the placements are good. Various renowned companies visit the campus such as Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, etc. The companies offer good packages to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College offers residential facilities to both male and female students. There is separate hostel building for both the genders. There are total 4 floors in boys’ hostel and 7 floors in girls’ hostel. There are around 200 to 300 students live in the boys’ hostel and in the girls’ hostel; there are around 350 to 400 students. The mess food is quite good and hygienic. The students are not allowed to go outside the hostel after 10:00 PM. I am not staying in the hostel so I only have this much of information about the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are a total of five academic blocks in the campus. The academic blocks are quite large and have good accommodation capacity. There are labs in every block so the students don’t have to move out of the blocks. The classrooms are also huge and have good seating capacity. The classes of the third year students are equipped with projectors. The campus has library, auditorium, canteen, sports ground, etc. My favorite thing about this College is its infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life in this college is going perfect. The campus crowd is helpful and polite. There are many clubs and societies in my College such as GDSC club, GFG club, Rotaract club, Fusion club, etc. I am a part of the GDSC club & Fusion club. The management and the clubs organise various extracurricular activities for the students. My College is popular for its fests and it invite various celebrities to perform in those fests. Various festivals are also celebrated in this College such as Holi, dandiya night, etc. Till now. My campus life is pleasant and I have made various memories.

    Overall, college life in GCET Greater Noida is elegant. It is located at a nice place. The infrastructure and facilities are above average. There is a mall and a metro station just in front of college. Faculty members are very polite and they help you through your course. This college is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Institute of Engineering and Technology (AKTU). All semester exams are taken by AKTU.     GCET Greater Noida is well known for its infrastructure, faculty, and so others many facilities. If we talk about placement, it is descent and companies like Amazon, TCS, etc. gives placement. It is situated in prime location that is Knowledge Park metro station that gives you an edge at travelling. Overall GCET Greater Noida is the best college in the city.     As you enter the campus its feels like that you have entered in hi-fi college as the college have big campus with grounds, library and cafeteria. I have chosen this college as I got Fee Wavier in CSE core branch. Also, my friends taken admission in this college whose total fees is about Rs. 1,15,603 yearly which is much affordable than other colleges in Greater Noida.
