Amity University Jaipur is Accredited by NAAC

I had joined Amity University Jaipur back in 2021, when I had just completed my schooling. I was supposed to join another Institution in Pune but I had enrolled myself here. I have enjoyed so much in this University by attending the online classes and I still remember my excitement for the offline classes. The faculty, my classmates, and the campus everything was great. According to me there is no such University in the India which offers this much of scholarships. One more thing about it is that it conducts a 7 days military training camp which is mandatory to attend. It is accredited by NAAC.

I chose Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology. I chose is because I have an interest in this subject and it makes me happy. The entry requirements were pretty simple. All I had to do was to create a 2 minute introduction video and fill the registration form. The eligibility criteria are that the students must have scores at least 40% in their class 12th boards. We used to have one exam and one set of mid-term tests each semester. The course includes 6 semesters in total. It was a 6 semester course.

I have got 100% scholarship so I only had to pay the hostel fee. For others, the fee for the first year was around Rs. 80,000/-. In the second and the third year, it was around Rs. 85,000/-. The University has 3 types of scholarship first is the 100% scholarship, second is the 2.50%, and third is the 3.25%. It offers scholarship on the basis of your marks.

In my department, all are associate professors with a strong educational background and they are highly experienced as well. They have done Ph.D in their respective field. They teach us with the help of blackboard, PPTs, group discussions, role play, etc. They have also organised industrial visits for us. At my time, the teacher to student ratio was 1:20. The teachers are very approachable. The University has a rule where they assign each student to a teacher and they share a mentor mentee bond. Every week we used to have a mentor mentee meeting where we can discuss anything with them. The activities and the methods teachers used to teach us have helped me build my self confidence and has given me so much exposure which I actually wanted in my life.

Yes, Amity University Jaipur offers separate accommodation facilities to the students. They have flat based system and each flat has 3 rooms. The rooms are available in double and single occupancy. Various facilities are available such as TV room, playroom, dance room, Nescafe outlet, etc. The hostel fee for non-AC room is Rs. 60,000/- per year and the fee for the AC room is around Rs. 1,20,000/- per year. Students can submit the fee in 2 installments. The hostel gates remains open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. There were 4 wardens which take the attendance of the students after 9:00 PM. They were very nice.

There are 5 departmental blocks such as block A,B,C,D, and E. The campus has an amphitheatre, seminar hall, auditorium, library, food trucks, etc. The classrooms are fully air conditioned and spacious. My favorite place in the campus was the neem forest and the lake. Each block has Nescafe. Non-vegetarian food outlets are also available within a distance of 5 minutes from the campus. The campus has tight security as well.

Overall, my campus life was beautiful and memorable. The campus crowd was good. There are around 20 clubs in the University such as Fashion club, Dramatics club, Music club, etc. I was a part of Horsing club. Various fests, webinars, and seminars are conducted in this University. All the events are so much fun. The views that this campus offers are just serene.
