Pursuing My Bachelor from GGU Bilaspur

Overall Rating
If you got low rank in your entrance exam then you can choose this University. The fee structure is also affordable here. The locality is also good and the campus is huge. My experience at the University is average. The teachers teach us very well. Various facilities are also available at the campus. I would recommend others to take admission in this University.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing B.Tech in CSE. For admission, I have given the JEE Main exam and appeared in the JOSAA counseling. I got 1,20,000 rank in the entrance exam. In each semester, three exams are conducted such as CT 1 & CT 2 exams which are of 15 marks and the end semester exam which is of 60 marks. The practical exams and viva are also included in this.
The fee of my course is affordable. For the students who belong to general and OBC category, their fee is around Rs. 32,000/- per year. For the students who belong to SC / ST category, their fee is around 12,000/- per year.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members have good knowledge and they are highly experienced in their own field. They have friendly nature. They always motivate the students to develop their skills and participate in many events. The student to teacher ratio is good and they also provide guidance to the students. They teach us with the help of white board, green board, etc. Overall, the teachers are good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, GGU Bilaspur has placement cell. The placements are not up to the mark. You have to work on yourself and try for off campus placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University offers residential facilities to the students. There are limited seats in the hostel. The rooms are spacious and the mess serves good quality of good. The hostel fee is around Rs. 22,500/- which includes 3 months of mess fee. The male students are required to enter the hostel by 9:00 PM and the female students are required to enter the hostel premises by 7:00 PM. My experience at the hostel is good and you can also make many connections here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus area of GGU Bilaspur is spread over around 655 acres of land. There are separate buildings for different departments. The buildings are spacious. The classroom has the seating capacity of around 100 students. The campus has huge library and one special library is also there for the Engineering students. The University has Nescafe and Amul outlet. The transportation facilities are also provided by the University.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life so far is average. The campus crowd is not that huge. Several clubs are there such as GDGC club, GFF club, Nexus club, Udaan club, etc. Various fests are conducted such as ‘Equilibrio’, etc. The dandiya utsav are also celebrated here. Overall, my experience is good because of my friends and good faculties.

    I was preparing for NEET but unfortunately couldn't make it. I am from a biology background and am always interested in biology. I’m from Raipur, Chhattisgarh and Guru Ghasidas Visvidyalaya is the only Central University of Chhattisgarh.   • GGU Bilaspur Placement Cell: How Effective it is

    My overall experience at this university is good quite. The environment is soothing and calm which provides a better way for studies. I have chosen this university as all the basics facilities which are required to be in a university are available here. Amenities like Playground, Central Library, Cafeteria and a lot more.     The thought initially that made me choose the institution when I enrolled for my undergraduate in 2020 was the faculty and the review of my seniors from school. I'm currently pursuing Masters and I'm in second year. My experience has been truly good. With minimum fee, you get good support from everywhere.
