GEU Dehradun Provides Good Hostel Facilities

Overall Rating
My personal experience at the University is quite good. Now that I am studying in this University, I have realised that most of the students are from other states. You will not find a University like this in Dehradun. It is a very good University. It was established in the year 1993. The University has received 48th rank in 'University' category by NIRF.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics. I chose this course because I wanted to gain more information about the drone technologies. All the students are required to do internship of 4 months. I am really excited for my internship. The admission process is quite easy, you just have to fill the form and pay the fee.
The tuition fee of my course at GEU Dehradun is Rs. 1,23,700/- per semester. The students who belong from Dehradun get 10% scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
All our professors have a minimum of 10 years of experience. They have also done research projects. They are very approachable. If we want any help then we can connect to them whatsapp. There are enough faculties available to teach the students. Overall, the faculty members are good and solve all the doubts of the students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell. I don’t have much information about it.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, GEU Dehradun offers residential facilities to the students. The girls’ hostel has the accommodation capacity around 1200 students. If I was for other city then I would definitely avail the hostel facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has adequate facilities for the students. The campus has auditorium where several fests and events are conducted, ground, etc. The canteen is also available which serves good quality of food to the students. Parking space is also available at gate number 1. There are 2 entrance gate and the second gate remains close most of the time.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life at GEU Dehradun during my initial years was not up to the mark. There are various clubs present at the University which you can also join and enhance your skills. Our University is best known for one thing which is providing liberty to the students. Fests and many other events are conducted in this University. Three days fest is organised in the month of March named ‘Grafest’.

    At GEU Dehradun, studies are made easier as when I enrolled for Engineering, I thought it would be very tough and I will be studying all day long.
