My Academic and Campus Life at IRMA Anand

Overall Rating
My experience at this Institute has been a transformation both professionally and personally. It has a unique way of mixing professional management with rural experience which makes it different from other Institutes. I have experienced several things in this Institute. It will help you develop practical insights into rural markets, social enterprises, and corporate responsibility. It is the best Institutes that one can get admission in.
 

Academics Rating
I have done Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from IRMA Anand. In order to enter in this Institute, you need to qualify the minimum requirements such as being a graduate with good CGPA or marks which will increase your chances of selection. One can secure an admission via CAT, CMAT, or XAT. The Insitute conduct 2 exams in a semester such as mid-term exams and end-term exams. The academics here are good.
The total fee of my course is around Rs. 12,00,000/- including hostel fee, mess charges, tuition fee, etc. Registration fee of Rs. 10,000/- must be paid to secure your admission. Various types of scholarships are available for the students. Special discount will be provided to the girl students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty at IRMA Anand is the backbone of academic excellence. Each faculty member brings a unique blend of academic background, professional experience, and deep commitment to management education. Most professors have done Doctorate level of education from prestigious Institutions such as IITs, IIMs, etc. Mode of teaching will be PPT based, class room group discussions, etc. The mentor is also available for the students to guide them.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell. Various companies visit the campus to hire the students. It also provides summer internship to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the Institute provides residential facilities to both male and female students. The outing time for the students is from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Mess food is good and hygiene. It serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food to the students. Wi-Fi facilities are also available for the students. The hostel rooms are fully furnished.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of IRMA Anand is spread over 60 acres of land. The campus has several academic blocks, MPH hall, etc. The classrooms are well equipped with audio visual facilities. The campus also has fully air conditioned library with the seating capacity of 600+ student, canteen, medical facilities, etc. The campus also has gym for the physical well being of the students. The Institute also offers sports facilities to the students. Overall, the infrastructure is good.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life in this Institute was good. At my time, there were more than 600 students studying in this Institute. There are around 18 clubs and several committees which you can join. Various activities are conducted in their Institute. I was the head of one of the club. The Institute organise an annual fest, TEDx, alumni meet, and several other events for the benefit of the students.

    Everybody dreams of a good campus; personally, I feel IRMA is one good-looking campus, 60acres of green campus. Location is also not bad, in the city itself, I have struggled in a campus of a remote from town during UG, and now having everything in near vicinity is a blessing.     IRMA was set up by Dr. Verghese Kurien and is one of the top institutes in the country. It is one of the few institutes that offer rural management courses. During my admission, the institute used to conduct its own entrance exam but now they refer to CAT score for admitting students.     The institute has some string core values set up by Dr Verghese Kurian and his values are instilled deep down among each faculties and students who are part of IRMA. The students are selected for this course based on CAT score followed by competitive GD round personal interview is conducted. The admission process is strict, formal and is systematically conducted.
