Amazing Teaching Staff at NIT Raipur

Overall Rating
Therefore, the overall experience in this Institute is very good because in our Institute all the things are very good just like my branch and my teachers. I chose this field because I am from Chhattisgarh and that is an area of mining so there is a scope on this field and i want to encourage my juniors to go this field and serve our country. I chose this Institute because when the Institute was started in past years, the first branch is Mining and NIT Raipur is known for this branch.
 

Academics Rating
Eligibility criteria is to get good percentile in the JEE Main exam. The minimum score is 90 percentile for admission in this program but if we want to go in good branch and good Institute so you have to score more score just like 95 percentile. Now the admission process is very good in this exam and in our Institute, seats are allotted through the JoSAA counseling. In our Institute, they send all details in the student's mail ID, which is required documents for the admission process, and when we reached in our Institute for the admission it will took at least 3 to 4 hours for full process.
The fees structure in our Institute is semester wise, and my course of 4 year and each year have 2 semesters so there are total 8 semesters and each semester we have to pay fees. The fees structure in our Institute in the basis of family annual income. If the family income is lower than the 1 l Lakh in year then you have to pay only Rs. 8000/- around to Institute to per semester. Now the second criteria is if 1 Lakh to 5 Lakh then you have to pay only 25,000/- per semester around and your family income is more than 5 Lakh then the fee is Rs. 70,000/- per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
There are very good teachers in our Institute. All the teachers are knowledgeable and proficient in their fields. Furthermore, they teach via PPTs and smart boards. Their problem-solving abilities are also up to the mark.
 

Placement Rating
The placement of our Institute is very good like in CS & IT branch. So many IT & Mining companies come at NIT Raipur. Currently I am in 3rd year & my training will start from the starting of 4th year.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are facilities for residential. There are 2 to 3 buildings for the boy’s hostel and 4 hostels for the girls. In addition, I do not know the exact number but it may around some thousand of student be able to get hostels. In addition, the mess food is very good, they serve 4 times in a day and that very good in my aspect and very testy food for the first year students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus size is very big. There are so many classrooms for all the years and for all the branches. The amenities are excellent. Different buildings and blocks belong to various departments. Every facility can be found in the practical lab blocks. The academic facility is extremely high. The library was filled with the books for knowledge. There are grounds for volleyball, football, cricket, athletics, and an indoor stadium with a GYM are available.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is very fine in this Institute, because in our Institute limited things is done and there are no any types of ragging in our Institute. Our Institute is 100 percent ragging free. In addition, in our Institute there are so many clubs. Therefore, Institute organizes so many events like SIH, conference and other like dance, singing, and other competitions. In our Institute, there is an event Vigyan that is very good. I have also participated in that event. The fest in our Institute is cultural night, EDM night, & DJ night so many things.

    I'm currently pursuing B.Tech degree from National Institute of Technology, Raipur. Overall, what I can say is that this institute is good. Choosing it is kind of worth it. Well my JEE Main percentile is 93.6 so, I had to choose this institute as I want a decent NIT tag. For me, choosing this one is worth it because it is much better than choosing some lower government and private colleges.     NITs are excellent compared to other institutes. NIT Raipur has good placements. I am studying in Information Technology branch.     I joined this Institute in 2024. My branch is information technology. I joined this Institute because the average package of this branch is around 18.6 LPA CTC. I got Indian Institute of technology Patna mechanical engineering during JOSSA counseling but I applied for CSAB for this Institute.
