IIS University Jaipur: Perfect Blend of Good Academics with Supportive Professors

Overall Rating
IIS University, Jaipur is a deemed University, located in Mansarovar, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The University is UGC approved and has the best academic and extra-curriculum for overall growth of a student. The professors are the backbone of the University. Every department has the best Professors in their respective field. This is one of the best private Universities in Jaipur for Certification, Diploma, Graduation and Post-Graduation courses.
 

Academics Rating
I did B.Sc (Hons) from this University in 2019; the core subject was Zoology and Botany. The admission process was relatively smooth and easy in this. The students requires only 60% passing marks in 12th class with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) subjects, to get admission in the same course I did. The University has semester examination system, so the Graduation course concludes in 6 semesters in 3 years. The discipline, practical knowledge of every subject, extra-curriculum activities, sports; Inter or Intra-College competitions are the part of the course, which benefits in a balanced growth for each student.
The complete fees for B.Sc (Hons) was approximately Rs. 2,00,000/- in 2016-2019. The fee is relatively low as compared to the other private Universities.
 

Faculty Rating
According to me, the faculty of every department in IIS University, Jaipur is adept and full of knowledge in their core fields. The HOD of my department is highly interactive and supportive. I did a DST project under her supervision in 2018-2019. The Professors use combination of methods for teaching, such as blackboard, projector, practical knowledge, group discussions, student guided lectures etc. The faculty not only supports students to do better in academics but also helps them to participate in extracurricular activities and other competitions for their overall growth.
 

Placement Rating
The University has a Placement Cell, which actively works with the students and helps them to get their dream job. They do help third-year students by conducting classes for analytical and reasoning skills, with group discussion.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University provides hostel facilities. I have no information about the hostel fee but the food is good as compared to the other hostel mess food. Their menu includes well-balanced meal for every hosteller.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is small as compared to the other Universities but the facilities for sports, practical labs and classrooms are top-notch, using the best technologies. The practical labs for every department have updated good quality material and other equipment. Other than that, the University has an AV hall, three computer labs, Zoology lab with an animal room, Botany lab with a garden, Physics lab, Chemistry lab, Home Science lab, a Basketball and Cricket ground, medical room, a spacious and updated library, two canteens, transportation facility, good security and other facilities.
 

Campus Rating
The overall life in campus is great. It is a mix of academics with other extracurricular activities. The University annually organizes a fest for three days, where students can experience and enjoy different kinds of activities or competition as per their interest, such as dancing, singing, cooking, rangoli making, skit presentation, etc. The three day fest is a blend of Indian culture and present modern era. Other than this, academic or other guest lectures, movie promotions, NSS and NCC activities has been organized in the University on regular basis.

    My experience at IISU Jaipur was kind of bittersweet. It is an all girls' University. The faculty and facilities are really well. You should join to the University if you want a balanced academic life because it’s both fun and well-managed.
