St Aloysius College Jabalpur: View Point of a 1st Year student

Overall Rating
Factors that made me to choose St Aloysius College, Jabalpur is because it is affordable for a middle class student. The campus is very neat and clean. Also it is nearby my house. Overall, College is good but I wish the size and infrastructure could be improved.
 

Academics Rating
I am a B.Com student. For admissions, the College will provide you with a form which will have a list of documents that should be submitted so you have to get your documents, and take admission. You will get your ID card on the same day. In my case I had to pay Rs. 9500/- for successful admission which was the first instalment of 1st year fees.
In 2025, BBA fee of 1st semester is approximately Rs. 32,000/-. For B.Com, it is only Rs. 24,900/- for 1st year, 2nd year it is Rs. 25,000/- and 3rd year it is Rs. 24,000/-. Every year fees is reduced by one thousand which is something I really like about this College.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the teachers have a good nature like Ashu ma’am. They use PowerPoint presentations in class through the use of big screen for explanation. Teachers are always welcoming whenever a student has any doubts or queries. The student to teacher ratio is 4:1.
 

Placement Rating
The average placement package is 3 to 5 LPA. However, as I am a new student I do not know much about this.
 

Hostel Rating
St Aloysius College, Jabalpur does have hostels. However, I don't know about the amenities as I am a dayscholar.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College size is average. The good thing is that you do not need to purchase books from outside you can issue it from library. The campus is situated at a good location. Classrooms can accommodate around 70 to 80 students. The College has labs, seminar hall, auditorium, and a gym separate for boys and girls, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good but it does not have a sitting facility at the canteen, which I feel they should arrange for. There are many engagement activities organised by the College. Another thing I like is that students are also well mannered and there is no scope for ragging or use of any illegal substance here.

    My memories and experiences with St Aloysius College Jabalpur have always been unforgettable provides great facilities and a very friendly environment for study. The college management also provides scholarships for deserving students. Competition remains very tough. For this reason, the cut-off of this college is also very high.
