IIITDM Kancheepuram has a Ragging-Free Campus

My overall experience in IIITDM Kancheepuram is good. It has very good facilities, great innovation, design and many more. Apart from academics it is a quiet nice for extracurricular activities. Students can participate in event conducted by Institution. It is very safe and ragging free campus. Faculties are friendly and co-operative. They have library which is open from morning till 8 PM at night.

I am studying B.Tech CSE with major in AI. I choose this course because I have keen interest in Computers, before joining in Institution I learnt Coding. The eligibility criteria of admission are only through JEE Main. The process of admission is very simple. They will guide you when you go to Institute for joining everything will be informed through email given. There is library where every book related to academic are available.

Fees structure for my course is Rs. 1,31,200/- for every semester. We have to pay extra for Rs. 12,500/- for first semester. We have tuition fees of 90,000/-.

Faculties are friendly and helpful. They are very co-operative as they try their best to help students. They are well trained and experienced. Their problem solving abilities are good. They follow strict timings. They use PPTs and blackboard for teaching. Faculties are approachable. They also guide us for extra preparations needed and suggest us any other material needed. I have good bonding with my faculty. We can ask directly ask doubts or we can mail them our doubt.

The Institute is divided as blocks such as Academic block, Laboratory, Administration block, and Library. Two buildings are connected which is academic block and laboratory through sky bridge. Each classroom has one computer, connected with projector. Some classes are now turned to digital with three screens with good visibility. Library is very good with Wi-Fi availability. Canteen is situated beside laboratory. Sports and medical facilities are near. EV is available for students who are physically handicapped.

Overall my experience in IIITDM Kancheepuram was good. There are clubs for lots of activities like Dance, Singing, Coding, Sports, etc. They conduct sports activities with lots of engagement of students. These all clubs manage by students. ‘Samgatha’ is annual fest conducted in even semester and it is 4 day fest.
