My Academic Journey at the SNJB's College of Engineering Chandwad Nashik

Overall Rating
I am a first-year student of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science branch. My overall experience at SNJB's College of Engineering Chandwad Nashik is genuinely positive. Factors that made me choose this College include its affiliation with the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) Pune and the fact that it is near Nashik. The College not only focuses on academics but also on the overall development of the students by organising events, seminars, and festivals. The infrastructure is decent. I chose this college because of these reasons.
 

Academics Rating
I chose this course because of my interest in artificial things which are continuously working around us. The eligibility for taking admission into this College is to clear the passing criteria of the MHT CET examination. The admission is done online. Exams are conducted regularly which helps the students to stay consistent in their studies. The academics prepare students well for the higher studies, competitive exams and the practical world.
The fee structure depends on the category type of the student. As I am a student who belong to OBC category, I paid around Rs. 70,000/- annually.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is different in the first year as first year is taught common for all branches. But later on, there is distinct faculty for specific branches. Every teacher is passed out and graduated from well-known Universities in Maharashtra. A variety of teaching methods are available for the students such as blackboard, PPTs, greenboard, projectors, etc. Moreover, I really like the teachers’ behavior towards the students.
 

Placement Rating
Placement Cell is available at our College. It is handled by a special group of faculty and HoDs. The Cell helps the students to understand about interview, startup planning, job interview skills, Internships, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Our College also provides residential facilities for the students. There are total three hostels in the College campus. The hostels of girls and boys are separate. Moreover, there are hostel facilities such as 24/7 Medical Facility, Hygienic Food, and Security Guard. Mess food is provided 4 times including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks. The hostel fee is to be paid annually.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The SNJB's College of Engineering Chandwad Nashik campus is huge. The classrooms are well-designed. Central library is also available which consists of various kinds of books related to both academics and non-academics. Every Lab is well-equipped with proper instruments. Open Amphitheatre is also available. Moreover, facilities such as Canteen, Sports, Medical, Transportation, Auditorium, Open Auditorium, Security, and so on are also available at our College.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is decent. There is no huge crowd of the students gathered at once in the College campus because of different timings. Various Clubs such as Language Club, Yoga Club, Cultural Club, etc. are available. My experience at the campus is good and satisfactory.
