SNJB's College of Engineering Chandwad Nashik: A Holistic Experience

Overall Rating
In my view, SNJB's College of Engineering Chandwad Nashik is an excellent choice for students. It is situated near the Nashik city. As the College is autonomous, it adds strong Academics features which benefit the students. My overall experience in this College is really positive and good. I chose this College because of its autonomous status and it also belongs to my Tehsil so it was only right for me to join here.
 

Academics Rating
I chose BE in Computer Engineering as it is the dream of millions of students to grow in this branch. As I also had a strong interest in it since childhood, I was interested in starting a career in it. I decided to complete my career in this field as software development plays a crucial role in the future. Admission to this course can be secured through the State-level entrance exam called MHT CET. The entire process of admission is done online through CAP or Centralized Admission Process. Our College conducts two main Academic examinations per semester including mid-semester and end-semester exams.
For my course, my annual fee for 1st year was Rs. 68,000/- as an OBC category student. The total fee includes Tuition fee of Rs. 50,000/- along with additional charges. For specific category students such as the SBC, and NT categories, the annual fee is very minimum and it goes around Rs. 20,000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
As a first-year student, we have very good faculty members in our branch. Almost all the teachers have graduated from top Institutions of Maharashtra. Every teacher is local which is beneficial for the local students to understand their teaching style and method. A lot of teaching methods are available to teach the students such as Green Board, Smart Board, PPTs, etc. to explain the visual diagrams. My experience with the all the faculty members has been really good They are very friendly with students.
 

Placement Rating
Our College has a Placement Cell and it is active. It organises various sessions to improve the industry readiness skills of the students through their session. The College also invites the HRs of the local companies to guide students about industry work.
 

Hostel Rating
Our College provides residential facilities. There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls in the College campus. The Mess food is hygienic and acceptable. The hostel fee goes around Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- per year. The hostel rules are strict to maintain discipline in the campus and a specific time is set to wander outside the campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The SNJB's College of Engineering Chandwad campus’s infrastructure is really impressive and student-friendly as it is near the mountains. Each department has their separate blocks for Academics and Labs which leads the College to ensure proper management. Classrooms are well-designed to increase interest of the students. Apart from this, this College also provides amenities like a Canteen Central Library, an Auditorium Hall, Open Amphitheatre, strong Security, etc. Basic Medical support is also available within the campus.
 

Campus Rating
In the February month of every year, the College conducts various programs and events such as the Traditional Day, Sports Day, Annual Fest, etc. Overall campus life is enjoyable and there are several active Clubs in the campus, including the language club, cultural club, fest clubs, and many more. The College also provides various opportunities to the students to showcase talents in the programs by conducting Speech Competition, Group Discussion Competition, etc.
