MLSU Udaipur has Approximately 38 Departments

I chose Mohanlal Sukhadia University Udaipur as it is one of the most reputed Universities in the State. The thing that makes it different from all other Institutions is the quality of the education and the facilities provided to the students. There are e-Libraries and special Moot Court rooms. My favourite thing about the University would be the faculty members because of the valuable guidance & motivation that they provide. Moreover, the environment of the Institution is very student-friendly and the education is quite affordable.

I have opted for the B.A.LL.B and the reason I chose it is because there is a wide range of opportunities in this field. One can study Law and apply it in any other field because it’s a very versatile subject and is needed in every aspect. The exams are conducted in every semester one is internal examination which constitutes a portion of syllabus and is of 10 marks and the other one is external which constitutes the whole of syllabus and is of 80 marks. The eligibility is based on an entrance test conducted by the University. The academics will provide you a thorough understanding of the subject and the practise will helps you understand the real life challenges in a better way.

The University charges an annual fee of about Rs. 50,000/- which excludes the Hostel fee and books but includes the Library charges. Moreover, Registration fee is not included in the annual fee. Financial aid is provided to Economically Weaker Sections (EwS).

The faculty members are very helpful. Most of the faculty members are practising Advocates which helps us in getting an idea regarding the real-life problems. The teachers teach through Blackboards or Group Discussions but sometimes, they conduct activities to test our understanding of the subject. The faculty is not only well-educated in their subjects but also other subjects. This allows them to solve doubts of students regarding different Law subjects. Most of the faculty members are friendly and very reliable.

I think that the placements at MLSU Udaipur are average.

Hostel facility is provided by our University. The hostels are great. Moreover, the rooms are huge and proper facilities are also provided to the students. Although, there are restrictions regarding timing and permission to leave.

The Mohanlal Sukhadia University Udaipur campus is huge, spreading across 607 acres of land. In my University, there are around 38 departments. This is why, the University has several Academic Block for my program. It has a Library, Canteen, Auditorium, separate rooms to conduct various activities, etc.

The campus life is amazing. The crowd mostly consists of students from nearby districts of the State. So, the crowd is kind of diverse. Our University conducts various quizzes, debates, moots, and other non-academic activities in the campus. The students of different classes get the opportunity to guide or help in conducting activities. There are several Committees such as Moot Court, Art & Cultural, etc. The University promotes Sports and motivates students to take part in such programs. Moreover, it conducts various Fests every year such as Freshers', Dance & Art, etc. Overall, the campus life is fun and of full of opportunities.
