Unbaised review of MNIT Jaipur

Overall Rating
Okay, let’s start with the admission process. One can get admission at MNIT Jaipur, by getting a descent rank in JEE Mains. I got a rank AIR 6474 in Mains and got ECE branch during Jossa counselling. I wanted to take college near my home only so MNIT being one of the best NITs in India became my choice.
 

Academics Rating
As I told I got ECE branch, it was not a specific choice, most of us wants CSE branch but I couldn't make it. But I have talked to most of the seniors in MNIT Jaipur, they motivated me to opt this course as almost all the companies allow ECE students to sit in the placement. But after joining the college I realized that taking ECE in this college is one of my best decisions in life.
 

Faculty Rating
This is completely unbiased review of MNIT faculty members. The faculty at MNIT is one of the most experienced and highly knowledgeable ones. They motivate us to do projects. One can approach any faculty and pitch their project ideas and they will support you for sure. Yeah, there are some Professors whom you will not like at the first because of their harsh policies in academics, but overall you will get better of what you have expected.
 

Placement Rating
Yeah, we do have a placement cell in our campus. MNIT Training & Placement Cell aims at building a strong interface between industry and the University for training and placement of students. To make recruitment session smoother for students, Training & Placement Cell has a web portal for handling the placement registration for companies visiting our campus.
 

Hostel Rating
The Institute provides on campus boarding and lodging facility to regular students, the current accommodation capacity is, 3333 and 1058 for Boys and Girls, respectively. The messes in the hostel are managed and regulated by "MNIT Mess Council". We have 17 hostels in our college in total.
 

Infrastructure Rating
MNIT's VLTC (lecture hall of MNIT) is Asia's largest lecture with a capacity of 6000 students at single time. It's one of the major attractions of our college. One of the most modern architecture philosophies is used in building our lecture hall. Rest I have mentioned about the hostels. There is an administrative building known as Prabha Bhavan which is also equipped with state of the art technology.
 

Campus Rating
As far it is concerned with the beauty of MNIT's campus, I would say that it is the best as compared to any NIT in India. It is located in the most prime location of Jaipur, with connectivity to Airports, Multiplexes, Malls and railways. There are currently 20 clubs in MNIT, out of which I would say at least 8 clubs are highly active. We have an annual cultural fest known as Blitschlag and Technical fest known as Sphinx and annual sports meet.

    I have almost spent 1 year there in the campus, it's good and nice environment, but the weather is too different from South India, but the campus is filled with lush greenery everywhere and is we well maintained. I chose this institute according to my ranking. For my ranking, there was no better institute than this. Nothing much different, it is as usual all NITs with same method of teaching.     I think choosing this institute is the best decision in my life. First of all I was interested in computer science Engineering. But unfortunately, I got Artificial intelligence and Data engineering in this institute. Now a days, AI is booming everywhere. That is why I chose this institute.     I think MNIT Jaipur is a good choice for North Indian students. I chose MNIT Jaipur because it is one of India's top NITs according to NIRF ranking and is also well built.     You need to give JEE mains paper to get Bachelor of Architecture at MNIT Jaipur. Overall experience of college is very good. It is in great city with great campus of 317 acres. There are all facilities available in campus that a student may require. It is not situated out of the city rather it is in the heart of the city in Malaviya Nagar.
