MITS Gwalior is a considerable college only when you can't get into an NIT, and also don't want to waste a year taking a drop for JEE exam. It is one of the best colleges in Gwalior with good connectivity from the railway station and airport. It is located in the center of the city so you can always enjoy out of campus without waiting for Sundays.

Computer Science Engineering is the best course in MITS Gwalior. You will have to get a rank under 70,000 in JEE Mains Examination for enrolling in this course. This course can provide you with an immense amount of opportunities whether it be getting a job or being an entrepreneur after creating software, application, or any website. This course can give you the best earnings compared to all the other engineering courses.

The faculty at MITS Gwalior is very knowledgeable and supportive. Almost every professor is a Ph. D. Holder or has a Master’s Degree from a tier-one college in the country. Every faculty helps you whenever you need them. Older faculty is well known and younger ones are very friendly with students. They are always available at exam time for helping every student. Most of them are lenient when it comes to attendance.

Computer Science and Information Technology related branches have a placement percentage of above 90% with an average package of 7 - 8 LPA and the highest package of 12-13 LPA. Most of the companies coming to the campus are service-based ones.

This institute is good when it comes to connectivity and affordability (in terms of fees). The infrastructure is also good and even growing. But it would be better if some product-based companies also start visiting the campus for placements.

The infrastructure of the college is far better than other government colleges in the state. Many of the classes are air-conditioned and well-lit with ceiling lights. 5 - 6 badminton courts, volleyball ground, basketball ground, football ground, cricket ground, and one more empty ground for rest of activities are available. Two new buildings are under construction which would even enhance the infrastructure in the future.

Campus life is acceptable. No such big events and fests like IITs. But many small events are conducted by college clubs and administration. 3-5 club-based events happen every month where students can take part. After getting into this college you will get to join almost any type of club which you didn't even think of. As the college is not so big in fests’ culture, many students made their clubs in different fields which are fully supported by the college administration. No language or discrimination issues on the campus. Because half of the college is local so it sometimes leads to some student fights. The College is a no-ragging campus.
