College do have separate buildings for different departments and has proper labs for practical work. Some of the instruments are not in working condition in most of the labs. Campus is of nearly 47 acre with two basket ball courts and 3 badminton courts and had a volley ball court too. Campus has a huge football and a cricket ground. There are 2-3 gardens for chilling.

Good in terms of studying but you have to do more things apart from your academics. You have to develop skills on your own for internships and placements. Maintain a good CGPA for placement purpose. The infrastructure of the college is far better than other government colleges in the state. Many of the classes are air-conditioned and well-lit with ceiling lights. 5 - 6 badminton courts, volleyball ground, basketball ground, football ground, cricket ground, and one more empty ground for rest of activities are available. Two new buildings are under construction which would even enhance the infrastructure in the future.

Campus life is acceptable. No such big events and fests like IITs. But many small events are conducted by college clubs and administration. 3-5 club-based events happen every month where students can take part. After getting into this college you will get to join almost any type of club which you didn't even think of. As the college is not so big in fests’ culture, many students made their clubs in different fields which are fully supported by the college administration. MITS campus is huge and has all the central facilities from the library to the dispensary. The college area was close to 50 acres. There were over 10 admin departments and one central building with all the data and the library in it. There were three computer centres and a track field of NCC training. The college, over the years, has produced many cadets. As I was asked to write about a differentiator in infrastructure, the differentiator is a forest named Madhav-Van, which is inside the campus. I have been to over 20 campuses and have never seen a forest inside the campus. The forest was so beautiful and elegant. One can find rare species of birds there as for us it was a common sighter. The college had two canteens and a mess open for hostellers and day scholars.

If one has to have fun at the campus playing, then there's a beautiful playground at the campus. If one is fond of indoor sports, there is a recreation room with plenty of indoor sports. If one needs a personal space, then there's a forest where one can have alone time. If one needs to hang around with friends, there's a beautiful canteen at the campus, and it is not compulsory to order and then sit. One can sit and talk the whole day as there is no restriction on college students. There are some negatives, but those are related to education, but the positives are galore. The correct balance is missing; otherwise, MITS would have been the best college in the region.Read Full Review
