My Overall Experience at SJBIT, Bangalore

Overall Rating
I recently graduated from SJBIT. I joined this college through COMED K. Based on my ranking, I got this college. My experience at SJBIT was good and full of memories. I made friends from different states. The ambience of this college is very good.
 

Academics Rating
The course I joined was Computer Science and Engineering. In order to join this course, students have to crack CET or COMED K exams. Since I'm from North India, I'm not eligible for CET. Students who have completed their schooling from first standard to 10th standard in Karnataka only are eligible to get admission through CET.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty in this college is very good. Most of the teachers have completed their PhD. There are totally 30 to 40 teachers in this college. There is a new method of teaching at SJBIT. Teachers use projectors to explain the concept well to the students. Every subject is taught till the duration of 1 hour.
 

Placement Rating
The placements at this college are pretty good. The maximum package is around 10 LPA. I got placed through on-campus recruitments with a 6.5 LPA package.
 

Infrastructure Rating
One of the good things of this college is the infrastructure. There are separate buildings for each department. The structure of each building is amazing. There is a huge library where all kinds of books and journals are available for the students. One of the amazing things of this college is that we can see greenery everywhere.
 

Campus Rating
I will rate the campus life 8 out of 10. The most irritating thing is that the students have to walk around one to 1.5 km from the bus stop to reach the college. The college also gives good importance to sports and extracurricular activities. There is one technical fest and one annual fest conducted every year.

    Compared to other colleges, SJB campus is very broad and has such a beautiful atmosphere. All faculties are very friendly with students and they are very responsible about their students’ future.
