There are Around 12 Air-Conditioned Academic Blocks at GLA University Mathura

The University are working on every aspect and the syllabus is good. One thing I really like is that the campus is near me. Another feature I liked is that they take codethon from the first semester itself. The crowd is also decent here. They also have workshops, and there are several clubs like CSED in which we can participate after our lectures. I scored decent in JEE Main through which I got a scholarship as well on my tuition fee. Several fests and events are also organised here. Overall, I think it’s a 7/10 Institution.

The course I have chosen is B.Tech in Computer Science. Admission process is different for every branch but overall you should have an aggregate of 75% in your 12th Class and more than 65% in PCM stream. The enrolment procedure is simple, if you have not given any competitive exam then you will have to give their entrance exam which will be conducted online. We have a semester system where there are two exams taken in 1 semester in which mid-term and end-term exams are conducted. They try to improve the syllabus almost every year to meet what companies are looking for in students and prepare us accordingly. Most people are able to qualify the written test.

The fee for my course at GLA University Mathura is around Rs. 2,20,000/-. This only includes academics fee. In the beginning, they ask you to deposit Rs. 50,000/- to allot the seat which is later deducted from your academic fees and the transportation fee differs for various areas. They provide a scholarship on the basis of your JEE Main score and if you have appeared for JEE Advanced, they even give up to 90% scholarship on the tuition fees and they also facilitate you with the form of 'Samaj Kalayan Scholarship'.

The faculty is good and they are very professional as well. They also have good knowledge about the subject they teach and some of the teachers also have qualified National Level exams like GATE. They teach through PPTs using the projectors, green boards, white boards. Their problem solving ability is good and they teach by giving us real problems and solve them using code.

We have a placement cell where they teach students and make them prepared for the interviews and placements. Various companies visit our campus. The highest package in CS is of 60 LPA and the average package is around 7 LPA to 10 LPA. I haven't appeared for any placements as of now because currently I’m in 2nd year.

GLA University Mathura provides residential facilities for boys, girls, faculties and other staff members as well. I don’t know much about hostels because I am a day scholar but I have heard from my friends that it’s decent, and girls and boys accommodations are separate. Different year students have particular building as well. The food quality is moderate but a variety of food is provided.

There are about 12 AC academics blocks in which there are a lot of classrooms, labs, workshops, machines, offices, etc. The infrastructure is good and every class is fully equipped with ACs and has projectors. The campus area is 110 acres where capacity of classroom may differ which roughly can be about 76 students. There is a separate library for every branch and blocks where seminar halls are also present. There is one big auditorium in which all big events take place, and there are 4 canteens. Sports facilities are also good. There is a Dispensary for medical emergencies and transport facilities are also available here. There is an English lab where we improve and work on our Communication Skills.

The campus life is good and the crowd is average where the students are from different states and cities. There are a lot of clubs like Singing, Dancing, Poetry, Sports of Basketball, Football, and other Games club of Gaming & tTechnology. There is also a Coding club where you can develop your 'Logical Thinking'. There are various events and small-scale activities organised by the Institution and individuals belonging to various clubs like hackathons. There are several fests which are usually conducted in the month of April. The overall experience of GLA University Mathura is good.
