Overall Rating
My overall experience in GLA University is good. It has well qualified professors, good infrastructure, and various other things. This university has friendly and cool environment. Its placement ratio is best in the entire city and that's why I have chosen this university. The favorite thing about my university is it's night life.
 

Academics Rating
I have decided to pursue Bachelor of Technology to get technical entry in the Armed Forces. The minimum requirement is to have at least 70% marks in PCM in class 12th. One can take admission through JEE, CUET, or GLAET.
The fee of my course is Rs. 2,41,000 per year, Rs. 80,000 for hostel, and Rs. 40,000 for mess. Special discount is given to students who score good marks in GLAET, JEE, or in class 12th. The scholarships are also available for students whose parent's income is not more than 1 Lakh per annum.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are well qualified. Most of them are PhD holders or currently pursuing PhD, have cleared GATE exam, or have studied from the IITs. The problem solving capabilities of the faculties are impressive. They are also friendly in nature. The teacher student ratio is also good but I don't know the exact figure.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell of GLA University is very good. It has strong network with number of companies. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. came to our university. The average package is 8 LPA and highest is 55 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, GLA University provides residential facilities. There are total 20 hostels in the campus including boys and girls. Girls’ and Boys’ hostels are separate. My personal experience of the hostel is very good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus size of GLA University is 110 acres. Our university is very much peaceful. There are 12 academic blocks. The capacity of each class is 75 students. There is one central library. In addition, each department has its own departmental library. There is one canteen and one small mart. A number of sports facilities are also available here with different sports ground, and coaches. 24/7 medical facilities are available.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is good and I am really enjoying it. There are approximately 600 students in my course. If I talk about B.Tech department, then there are 3000+ students. A number of clubs are there in our university for almost all the activities. There are Sports Clubs, Cultural Clubs, and many others. NCC and NSS are also available here. In our university there is also an NGO named ‘Udaan’. Many events are organized by our university and some of the major ones are ‘Spandan’ and ‘Technavya’.

    The university academics is above average than other private institutes. The placement opportunities are also better; my university does not brag about the high packages but also provides them. I chose this university because others were very far from my hometown. The university provides industry-based training by companies.     I have completed almost 2 years at GLA University and I really feel good here. Faculty members, management staff, and even research scholars are helpful and help students as much they can. I have chosen this university because of its very well maintained infrastructure and laboratories, which helps students to excel in their particular field.
