Situated in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, the GLA University campus is developed over 110 acres of area, comprising a wide range of amenities for holistic development of the students. Academic Amenities
The academic blocks present at the Wi-Fi-enabled GLA University campus has approximately 227 technically-advanced classrooms, out of which around 65 are tutorial rooms. All these classrooms are fully air-conditioned & equipped with audio-visual equipment, projectors, smart screens, and other multimedia facilities.
AC auditoriums, seminar complexes, and around 11 conference halls developed at the University can accommodate a huge number of students at a time. Within the GLA Mathura campus, a 100-seater multi-purpose hall is there & it has multiple ICT facilities such as acoustic sound system, projectors, LED TVs, and so on. All these venues are generally used by the authorities to organise academic and other events of the University.

- Library: The University has an air-conditioned central library where approximately 1,99,000+ books, 9850+ CDs / DVDs, 80+ National and International journals, 10+ newspapers, and many other reading resources are available for the students. This central library is fully-automated by KOHA. Other services of the library are remote access, plagiarism, references, circulation, and much more.
The digital library contains around 56 PCs & 3 servers so that students can navigate 2,15,995+ e-books, 1090+ e-journals, and other learning material from 20 databases like NPTEL, Swayam, DELNET, INDEST-AICTE Consortium, NDL, etc. To fulfill academic requirements of students of different courses, the University has nearly 7 Institutional libraries and 4 Departmental libraries as well.
- Laboratories: To provide highly advanced computing amenities to the students, ample new generation PCs have been set-up at computer labs and other parts of the GLA University campus. The University has approximately 157 department-wise laboratories wherein machines, tools, and other equipment are available to help students develop their practical skills.
Several Departments, Institutes, and Centres of the University have Language lab, Energy lab, Microprocessor lab, Electrical Machine lab & many other laboratories.
Non-Academic Amenities

- Sports: Spanning across land of about 20 acres, a ‘Sports Arena’ has dedicated fields like Badminton Court, Handball Ground, Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Football Field, Karate Ground, etc to make sure that students engage in physical activities. The GLA University campus also comprises halls, courts, tables, and other required facilities for indoor games like Chess, Badminton, TT, Carrom & so on. The University has an Athletic Track as well.
The Sports Department ensures to provide all the other sport amenities like kits, gear, equipment, and much more to the students on time. The annual sports events like ‘Spardha’, ‘Chakravyuh’, ‘Goal in Fire’, and others are held at the University so that students can learn teamwork, discipline, resilience, and other life-long skills.
- Hostel: The University offers homely and safe accommodation amenities to the outstation students at its on-campus hostels. Also, there are around 15 boys’ & 4 girls’ hostels which have a number of rooms in different occupancies in both AC and Non-AC options.
Additional facilities available at the GLA University Hostels include mess, TV, laundry, CCTV cameras, internet, and the list continues with many others.
- Eateries: ‘GLA Canteen’ available at the premises serves a variety of vegetarian meals, fast food, desserts, beverages, packed food, etc. at affordable charges. ‘Fusion Bistro’, ‘The Brajwasi Express’, and many other restaurants present at ‘GD Subway’ offer a diverse range of eating options in North Indian, Chinese, and Mexican cuisines.
- Transportation: More than 40 buses (both AC and Non-AC Deluxe) are available at the University to help day scholars commute back & forth from the campus to their respective homes. These buses contain GPS tracking systems, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and other such facilities for the safety & security of the students.
- Medical Facilities: ‘Aarogyam’, a healthcare unit of the University has experienced doctors, nurses, and other medical staff; it is also equipped with nearly 8 semi-fowler beds, examination couches, basic surgical equipment, oxygen cylinders, etc to provide effective healthcare services to the students 24/7.
The GLA University campus operates an air-conditioned ambulance that contains an oxygen cylinder and battery-operated suction machine for healthcare emergencies.
