Overall Rating
Expressing GLA University Mathura is beyond the words. The kind of good faculty and infrastructure that it provides to students is kind of top-notch. It is a University which cannot be defined in a very few words as many would have other ideas. I am a local and for us it has ensured that we can perhaps stay home and get an education, which is supposedly provided only by top Universities. My two years of experience has been amazing as three biggest things that I have learned in two years are to be tough and fair.

Academics Rating
One will hardly find a University around Mathura or nearby that is as good as this to pursue Engineering. Even Law department, which has the second highest number of students, is as good. Admission is through GLAET here, an interview, and one gets admission in choice of his/her course. Exams though here are quite tough because merit students get scholarships and not even 10% qualify so now one can imagine how tough academics are here at GLA University.
A total of close to Rs. 2,00,000/- is academic fees for each year. Every student getting over 9 CGPA gets 20% straight scholarship for the next semester.

Faculty Rating
No student studying here will have a bad word to say about our faculties because every time they stepped into classrooms, they will greet us with a smile. Now smile is not the only reason why everyone admires them, their teaching skills and especially doubts solving capabilities, which have won at least my confidence in them. Every single one of our faculties is spent for the cause of students as they have always told us that only reading from course material will not take you far, but thinking out of the box will.

Placement Rating
Now since the number of Engineering students has increased, the placement percentage has dropped a little. however complete opposite of it, the placements figures have increased as the median which was around 6 LPA when I took admission is probably now 8 LPA.

Hostel Rating
There are many boys and girls hostels and in all, there are four girls hostels in which my friend stays. Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari, and Kalpana are the girls’ hostels of the University and all of them are inside the campus.

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of our University is good. Buildings are worth gazing and sports grounds are worth spending times at. We have in our CSE block as well as other amenities like two libraries, seminar halls, and others. There are three canteens, students can probably have all the varieties of food inside the campus, and it is not that expensive too. From ATM to a huge dispensary, GLA University’s infrastructure is perfectly equipped.

Campus Rating
I have praised the University only because the kind of campus life that it has provided. Most Engineering students go through anxiety, stress, and what not. We have various events and since the crowd here of top tier, events, and tests too is as good as any tier-1 University.

I think this University is quite decent when it comes to placements, academics, sports, events, fests, and fees. You can easily get upto 7 LPA of job from here if you are an average student. My cousin was placed from here at 12 LPA, which led me to take admission here. Overall, everyone is placed here.... Read Full Review

    Overall Rating
The University are working on every aspect and the syllabus is good. One thing I really like is that the campus is near me. Another feature I liked is that they take codethon from the first semester itself. The crowd is also decent here. They also have workshops, and there are several clubs like CSED in which we can participate after our lectures. I scored decent in JEE Main through which I got a scholarship as well on my tuition fee. Several fests and events are also organised here. Overall, I ... Read Full Review

  • GLA University Mathura has 70+ Active Clubs

    Overall Rating
The GLA University Mathura has a decent campus and has a good overall academic environment. It is a reasonable option if you are looking for a Private Institution in Uttar Pradesh. However, students need to focus on their CPI because it plays an important role in section division and placements. The University offers good extracurricular opportunities, clubs, events, and hackathons. Overall, it is a decent University, but students should also work independently on their skills.... Since my dad was against the idea of sending me to elsewhere, the only choice I had was to find a university close to my hometown.
