GLA University Mathura: A Good University with Decent Placement

Overall Rating
I think this University is quite decent when it comes to placements, academics, sports, events, fests, and fees. You can easily get upto 7 LPA of job from here if you are an average student. My cousin was placed from here at 12 LPA, which led me to take admission here. Overall, everyone is placed here.
 

Academics Rating
I have opted for B.Tech CSE in AI and Data Science, which focuses on machine learning, data visualization, air models, and many other topics in-depth, which comes under this stream. To get admission here, you need to clear a test, which is quite easy, if your class 11-12th are clear & have given GLAET exam (GLA Entrance Test). After every 2 months, there is an exam (mid semester & end semester). At the GLA University Mathura, courses taught here help us enhances our ability, upskill us, and prepare us for future evolving technologies.
For 4 years course, they will charge you Rs. 1,20,000/- as academic fees, Rs. 40,000/- for mess, and Rs. 75,000/- to Rs. 1,20,000/- for hostel (per year). So in total it will cost somewhere around Rs. 12,00,000/- to Rs. 13,00,000/- for 4 years.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty here are supportive, friendly, and equipped with in-depth knowledge of course which helps them to teach every important related to evolving technologies. It will eventually help us in long run. Faculty members are mostly IIT graduates, so you can judge their capabilities and experts in their respective fields. Every faculty member makes sure to teach every possible knowledge he/she has so that we people can secure a good package.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are one of the best parts of the University. As I have mentioned above, it past statistics of the placements are the prime reason of getting admission here. The Placement Team maintains good relation with the top companies so they can be invited to the drives & offers excellent jobs. In 2025, overall average package is 6.5 LPA.
 

Infrastructure Rating
At the University, there areseveral academic blocks. Every block is assigned to different departments like ECE, CSE, Mechanical, etc. Campus size is quite good as there is plenty of space. They have 3 big grounds for sports related activities, 1 seminar hall, and CSED block for conferences. There are in total 3 canteens, 2 libraries, 1 dispensary, and many other amenities. I personally like their buildings and ground, as they are quite big.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at the GLA University, Mathura is quite good, you can experience everything here that you wanted to experience before joining the University. You can get courses of your choice. You can enroll in clubs, and E-Cell. Fest here is quite limited & Spandan, Dandiya Night, and Musical night are few such examples. Hackathons and Tedx are also organised here every year. Overall, this University is worth experience. You can excel in your field with faculties support.

    The University are working on every aspect and the syllabus is good. One thing I really like is that the campus is near me. Another feature I liked is that they take codethon from the first semester itself. The crowd is also decent here.     The university academics is above average than other private institutes. The placement opportunities are also better; my university does not brag about the high packages but also provides them. I chose this university because others were very far from my hometown. The university provides industry-based training by companies.     I have completed almost 2 years at GLA University and I really feel good here. Faculty members, management staff, and even research scholars are helpful and help students as much they can. I have chosen this university because of its very well maintained infrastructure and laboratories, which helps students to excel in their particular field.
