My College Life in GLA University: Academics, Activities, & Placements

Overall Rating
Since my dad was against the idea of sending me to elsewhere, the only choice I had was to find a university close to my hometown. Without a shadow of doubt, GLA University was the best choice for me as studies at GLA University is perhaps one of the best. The experience is amazing here.
 

Academics Rating
For many reasons, GLA University academics are widely respected as academics here are at the top of their forte. Academics here will make one very smart, very astute and clever. Admissions are based just on 12th scores followed by an interview.
Fees for Law course are 1.4 Lakh a year. The fees gets increasing year after year but there are some scholarship programs available and one can enquire about their criteria from the admin office.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties of our university have all the great qualities except that they are too critical. They monitor our progression and if grades are less and if we are not doing any internships, we are scrutinized heavily for that. However, faculties are quite supportive and want the best for us. Their teaching is also of highest standards.
 

Placement Rating
Like most private universities for law, we also don't have any placements through campus.
 

Hostel Rating
I stay at the girl’s hostel and fee for the same is Rs. 78,000 a year. Mess fee is extra and that is Rs. 40,000 a year. Hostels are inside the campus and curfew time is 8 PM. All in all hostel Life is good. But, we have to mark our presence daily as attendance is taken at the hostels at sharp 10 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
A campus with an area of over 100 acres has almost all the artillery that a campus can have. Wooden turf for Badminton and various such sports facilities are there. The best thing is, that we never run out of basic things as a mini supermarket is there at our campus.
 

Campus Rating
Student life in the university is good. There are many departments and every department has their fests and events but combined University fest ‘Spandan’ is next level.
GLA University may have an in-time of 8 PM but we can roam around for as long as we want and enjoy our journey.

    The university academics is above average than other private institutes. The placement opportunities are also better; my university does not brag about the high packages but also provides them. I chose this university because others were very far from my hometown. The university provides industry-based training by companies.     I have completed almost 2 years at GLA University and I really feel good here. Faculty members, management staff, and even research scholars are helpful and help students as much they can. I have chosen this university because of its very well maintained infrastructure and laboratories, which helps students to excel in their particular field.
