Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre is situated at Tonk Road, Jaipur. My overall experience with this institute is really good. I chose this institute because of proper connectivity, near to home, infrastructure, and social initiatives. It is located at NH -12 so that it is properly connected with transportation system.

JECRC provides an opportunity to enroll for B.Tech (regular) and lateral entry. Available UG courses are Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Any willing student can directly take admission in these courses but having 45% in 10+2. Admission can also be done through REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process). Fee is Rs. 85,015 which is quite varying depending with specialization. Post Metric Scholarship and Pragati Scheme by Rajasthan Government are also available.

Academic, placement, extracurricular activities, and social initiatives are the four important features that shape the career of an engineer and because of the faculties of JECRC these four features are properly available here. All the faculties of this college are highly qualified and supportive in nature. Application oriented learning and modern teaching are the main features of education here.

Yes, college has a placement cell which constantly keeps all students aware about visiting companies and placement statistics. Some top recruiters are Wipro, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Chegg, Capgemini, Pinnacle, Infotech, IBM, and many more. Average package is 3 LPA and highest package is 11 LPA.

Yes, college provides residential facilities for willing students at a fee of 1.15 LPA to 1.6 LPA same for both girls and boys. 24 hours electricity backup, internet access, 24*7 security guard, sports facilities, and mess facility are some main facilities provided to the hostellers. The double storied mess next to the hostel offers students with multi cuisine healthy and nutritious food. Permission of the chief warden is necessary to go outside before 6:00 a.m. and after 10:00 p.m.

JECRC was established in 2000. Four academic blocks, incubation center, clubs, library, canteen, and cafeteria are the main elements of the infrastructure. There are four academic blocks named A, B, C, and D Block. A Block is for CSE (2, 3 and 4 year) also having an auditorium with 200+ sitting capacity. Block B is for ECE and EE departments. Block C is for Civil and ME departments. Block D is for IT and AI DS also having an auditorium with 500 + sitting capacity. To promote startup culture incubation centre is also available.

My college life has been fantastic till now. Some important aspects of JECRC are startup culture, fests, social initiatives, clubs, and many others. Incubation centre of college promotes startup culture. Till now there are more than 40 startups, some of which are Jaivik (agriculture), Acilives (mobile app), and Adventure Bag Club (travel and tourism). Some social initiatives are Aashayein, Suhasini, Zarurat, and Soch. Some clubs are Atrangi (painting), Fruit Full Jaipur (plantation), FNF (acting and drama), Soch (cleanliness), etc.
