My Mountaineous College

Overall Rating
My college is a government institution that means fewer fees with more facility. My parents were happy as girls’ fees are half of boys’ fees that mean it encourages girl child education. It is situated on the top of mountain so the environment is peaceful and awesome. College canteen is the best thing in my college.
 

Academics Rating
Every subject syllabus is completed before the end semester. Teacher are regular and punctual. They use smart class technology to clear the concepts. Moreover, the attendance is so strict. There are well developed labs for every course and 2 to 3 hours are given for each lab in a week with proper lab manual and attendants.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is so friendly and always helps us when needed. No student is ignored in class and everyone is guided. Every teacher is PhD and M.Tech Degree holder. They are great in their subjects. Each teacher has their own way of teaching by making us to prepare note and presentation on several topics. They give us full access for labs as well.
 

Placement Rating
We have Placement cell which look after placement procedures.
 

Hostel Rating
No hostel for girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are long buildings of 6 to 7 floors with lifts inbuilt in it. There are 4 building A, B , C, and D. The college building is well furnished. The college is renovated every year. Every year new things are upgraded in college. There is free Wi-Fi facility in college campus. There is canteen, playground, and gym in college premises.
 

Campus Rating
I enjoy my college life a lot. Every day is a new task and learning which is so memorable. The TWASK that is a technical fest is the best part and there are several clubs such as personality development club, cultural club, technical club, etc. which introduce various competitions in mid semester and make it more interesting.

  • JNGEC: An affordable college with excellent academics
     

    Overall Rating
    JNGEC is a college which is on the affordable side and provides great education. It is one of the best government colleges in Himachal Pradesh after NIT and IIT. Getting admission is also relatively easy and can be taken by either JEE Mains, CUET or HPCET examination. Faculties of the college are well educated and have Ph.D and masters degrees and are pretty helpful.     I started my college in 2015 and after that my legs are not functioning properly due to no lift facility and proper bus facility provided to go to on top of a mountain. No such good facility available in college campus. There was no hostel for students. There is no playground. Every student has to trek mountain just for study.... Read Full Review
