Overall, this college was an unexpected story for me. Maharani college, a name that don't need an introduction as it's an institute that is leading since decades. Maharani college was one of my priority colleges after 12th standard, as I have heard that degree of Rajasthan university has a name, and it can take your career to new heights. The college offers abundant career options to choose from arts to science degrees. In my case, the moment I filled the form, my mind was full of questions and thoughts, as I was leading towards higher studies where there is not mere a single class. I always feared from economics subject, but the faculty of maharani vanished my fears and unexpectedly it's my expertise subject now. The best part of my college life was hostel. I have always heard that hostel life is amazing and can teach you a lot. Now I can definitely say that yes hostel life is worth living. A place where you actually live with your strengths and weaknesses and learn tackling situations on your own. Memories of Maharani college still give me happy tears. Take admission there and let your wings fly!!

After my 12th standard, I wanted to pursue bachelor's degree, so I applied here. I have applied for bachelor's in economics. As per college admission rules, you will only be admitted on the basis of your 12th standard scorings. The selection in college as well as hostel was totally based on cut offs. I cleared the cut off with my 93.8 % and was enrolled proudly. An Honors degree is more profitable as compared to regular BA program, as it offers advanced learnings. The best part was the time my parents saw my name on the list.

I was enrolled in BA Economics, where my main subject was economics and subsidiary subject was public administration. Our faculty was highly educated and had experience of more than 15 years. Their expertise teaching undoubtedly cleared our concept problems and made us understood why the practical aspect of this subject is necessary. Economics is a subject that is dynamic and needs thorough understanding. Our teachers had a unique way of teaching with those imaginary examples that can mark that topic easily in our knowledge. Experts matter and the way they teach also matters!

I was always a student who finds hostel life fascinating. Maharani college has well established residential facilities for the students who are coming from other cities. Its campus has two hostels named on renowned personalities, Annie Besant and Mother Teresa. both these hostels were accommodation of more than 500 girls, which was equipped with all the facilities including food mess, garden, canteen, guardian room and those well-maintained rooms. Hostel life was full of joy as you enjoy at best. Along with studies, you will enjoy the parties including Freshers, farewell and DJ nights. Recreational activities were organized by the warden so that students can learn more, enhance their skills and give opportunity to take their interests higher. Hostel is a home away from home!

A broad door with huge name written on it "UNIVERSITY MAHARANI COLLEGE", this will be the first thing you will see when you enter the college. A campus that has aesthetic architecture, old soothing ambience and a magnificent garden. As the college was build a long time ago, you can't expect it to be modernistic. The classes, community halls, library, faculty rooms, and ground are well maintained till date. Campus also has two well-built hostels which are worth staying.

To be honest, being a hosteler, i have never taken interest in campus life. For all of us, it's just going to college, attend classes and come back to our lively rooms. I was having my college friends who used to give us feedback on what was going in college, program and activities. Our campus is a dream for many girls, and I think it's obvious because Maharani college never lacks in development of girls. Whether its conducting program, sport activities or parties, you will feel that they are worth. Better place to be better!
