College of National Importance

Overall Rating
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Vadodara is a great college. The education here is very good as the topics or courses they choose to teach us are great and far more before that time which is an advantage to us. It has their temporary hostel and mess which is due to the lack of permanent campus. But construction of permanent campus had been started.
 

Academics Rating
Academics here is quite good as the course structure here is far better than many colleges. Here are many courses which are taught early in 1st year which help students to get an upper hand in programming. They tried to teach students courses which are beneficial for them in programming as well as in getting future jobs.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is quite nice. They are very helpful in nature. We can ask any doubt to them. The faculty here is also very educated and disciplined. Many faculties here have completed their PhD or M.Tech from IITs. They tried to teach in a manner which is quite understandable to students. They help the students in every possible way in their problems.
 

Placement Rating
The best thing about this college is that it has 100% campus placement. These stats are quite fascinating.
 

Hostel Rating
We don't have our personal campus, but the hostel allotted to us also very nice. In each room 4 students can stay. They get their individual cupboards, individual chairs, individual tables and individual charging point. Each floor has water coolers.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college operates from a government engineering college campus. We are allotted with two blocks. Each blocks have many classes with digital monitors and Air conditioner. There are many labs which are fully air conditioned. We have our own library from where we can get books issued. The library contains many books from different categories.
 

Campus Rating
As we don't have our own campus, but this doesn't restrict us from conducting events and fests. There are many clubs in our college like finance, dance, coding, singing, literature, etc. We also have our own arts club and sports club. Each club has their own secretary and heads, and each club gives their best to make our campus life enjoyable and ensure that we learn some new things.

    I am a third year Undergraduate student at Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara, Gandhinagar. My overall experience has been extremely positive so far. Although, our permanent campus is still under construction and we are currently running at Government Engineering College of Gandhinagar, but after spending more than 2 years, it feels like it didn't even matter.     I am a second year student at IIIT Vadodara Gandhinagar. Since it has been 2 years, my experience is fine, as we do not have our own campus. We face issues like transportation and food as our hostel located near a village Palaj (near IIT Gandhinagar). The institute is presently running in a government institute.     IIIT Vadodara is a good option for students who achieve percentile about 98 in their JEE Mains. The faculty here has excellent educational backgrounds and is a great help to students. This institute's campus is under construction and the classes are being held in GEC, Gandhinagar temporarily. The institute focuses on computer based courses, i.e. CSE and IT.     My overall experience has been good at IIIT Vadodara. I chose this institute because I was getting CSE branch in this institute with my JEE rank. Also, the environment of the institute is good, and the seniors and faculties are really helpful. The one thing which is unique about the institute is that even if it doesn't have a permanent campus, it offers an educational experience that is worth it, and all the students manage to take part in all the events and enjoy it....
