Jagannath International Management School is one of the topmost colleges affiliated with IP University. It's been awarded an 'A' grade by NAAC. The college offers 3 professional courses BA (JMC), BBA, and BCA. It required at least 50% in 10+2 for the common entrance test for admissions. College management is pretty much smooth when it comes to academics and co-curricular activities. As almost all colleges, the attendance criteria is 75% and they are quite serious about it. It's one of the top colleges to do BAJMC and BBA from.

I was a BA (JMC) student, as it is one of the best colleges to get hands-on experience in the media industry. We did content writing, shooting, production management, handled events, made research papers, and whatnot. Along with theoretical, practical knowledge was given equal importance which helped in the professional aspect as well. They constantly arrange guest lectures from the professionals to get actual insight into the industry.

The faculty is quite professional and expert in their respective subjects. Most of the professors have experience of 10 years on average. There are more than 50 faculty members including BBA, BCA, and, BAJMC combined. Faculties are well aware of the upgraded syllabus and helpful when needed. They not just teach but also help in the overall grooming of the student. It surely helped me a lot.

The placement cell did help me bag a few good work opportunities and helped in shaping my personality and resume. Companies like NDTV, ANI, Edelman, India Today come for recruitment. I would say had it not been a pandemic situation more than 60% of the students would have got placement. For BBA, companies like Amazon, Wipro, Deloitte, Tommy Hilfiger, and TCS visit.

The college does not offer any hostel facility. Students come from all over India and they find PG or flat facilities for themselves on their own. Commuting is not a big problem and there are plenty of PG facilities around the college itself.

The only problem with college is its total area. The infrastructure is well-built and the labs are equipped with the latest technology requirements but the area is very small. It just offers 3 courses probably that's why it's so small.

The campus is very small as compared to most of the other colleges but that doesn't mean college life isn't fun. Events like seminars, competitions, and guest lectures happened on college premises. However, events like fests and other major celebrations that required a huge amount of space happened in SIRI Fort Auditorium. The other fest is that IPU Anugoonj happens on the main campus in Dwarka. JIMS has four branches and they celebrate their own fest called ZEST & DANDIYA and don't go by its name. The energy is on a whole new level when students are cheering up for their respective branches during the fashion shows, dance, and theatre performances.
