DY Patil Institute of Master of Computer Applications and Management Akurdi Pune Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Well, the hostels may not be close to that of Tribe Hostel but overall infrastructure was indeed one of the best in Pune. Our building Computer lab was laced with latest machines and software. The library too there was plenty but our departmental library which was also shared by the management college was enough to get all the research material. The ground of the college was at least better than previous international stadium of Pune, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Apart from cricket too there were facilities for various other sports too like the basketball court, the volleyball court, and a badminton court to name a few. The canteens were just worth it as there were four, I guess along with some food trucks that used to serve food at the campus during the college hours.

After Symbiosis, the second-best crowd that you will see in Pune universities can be seen at Dr. D. Y. Patil University. The college calendar boasts events all throughout the year as there were 11 colleges in one campus and even if every month one college had their event means all year round, we had events. The common event of all the colleges was Fahrenheit and students of Symbiosis too were invited there to perform and even they appreciated our events.Read Full Review

Well, Akurdi campus looks like Walt Disney Theatre as a lot of showpieces are there at the campus. The campus is huge with loads and loads of facilities. Among all the facilities one that stood out was certainly the cricket ground of the college. DY Patil already has their international stadium in Navi Mumbai and trust me, if the stands were built around the ground at Akurdi campus, even it would have got the international stadium status. For food, there are ample canteens and food trucks are there inside the campus to drool your tongue with all the variety of food that you crave for. Seminar halls, auditoriums, and library too were world class.

Lifestyle of the students of DY Patil can’t be seen elsewhere. Students from well to do families are the ones that comes here. The sports day or rather sports week is given more importance at the university than the cultural fests. Every college used to have their own cultural fest and in that the engineering college fest Fahrenheit has to be the best event of the college. So, life here was simple as you have to study and make a career as campus provides you everything that can be easily rated above par.Read Full Review
