South Asian University Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, New Delhi

On-campus South Asian University hostel facilities are offered to the students who are seeking admission in the Master’s and Doctoral programs. Around 12 different hostel towers are available within the South Asian University which has around 1000 units of partially furnished accommodation in sharing.

The South Asian University hostel fees for SAARC region students are Rs. 18,912/- for an academic year. Students should note that the hostel facilities at the University are limited and its allocation is subject to availability.

*Students who are coming from SAARC countries other than India will be given priority at the time of admission in the University’s hostels. Also, mess charges need to be paid separately by the students.

Adhering to the SAU University hostel rules are mandatory for the students who are staying at the accommodation spaces; the details about the same can be understood from the following points:

• Ragging in any form is non-acceptable and strict action will be faced by the students if they are found involved in any such activities.
• All the students must be back at the University’s hostel by 8 PM in the night.
• Hostellers are not allowed to cook or store food in the rooms. Also, keeping and using items like gas cylinders, e-kettles, cookers, etc. are banned for the students.
• Students might face expulsion from the hostel if they are found consuming or possessing incoherent items like alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, and others.
• Residents who want to do night out are required to take permission from the hostel wardens by 3 PM on the day via submitting an application in the prescribed format.
• Opposite gender students cannot enter into each other's hostels.
• Keeping pets within the Institution’s hostels are banned for all the residents.
