CHARUSAT University

The Charotar University of Science and Technology, established in 2009, is popularly known as the CHARUSAT University. The State Private University is located at Anand, Gujarat and managed under the Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Patidar Kelavani Mandal.

It has around 10 constituent units namely Chandubhai S. Patel Institute of Technology (CSPIT), Devang Patel Institute of Advanced Technology and Research (DEPSTAR), Ramanbhai Patel College of Pharmacy (RPCP), Indukaka Ipcowala Institute of Management (I2IM), Manikaka Topawala Institute of Nursing (MTIN), etc.

The Charotar University of Science and Technology is approved by AICTE & UGC, accredited by NAAC, and is a member of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI). Moreover, the University is recognised by PCI, Government of Gujarat, and Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR).

Admission Process

The admission process for different academic programs is described in detail below:

ACPC Government Quota Admission:

For the professional programs like B.Tech, MBA, Pharmacy, and others, students need to apply for the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) counselling. The instructions to complete the ACPC process are as follows:

• Visit the Gujarat ACPC portal and register using the JEE / GUJCET scores.
• Choose the preferred course and Institution.
• Appear for the mock admission rounds to get familiar with the seat allocation.
• After final seat allocation, accept the granted seat before the deadline.
• Report at the University along with the necessary documents.

Direct Admission:

The application form for admission at the University can be filled via both online and offline modes. The step-wise admission procedure for the desired mode is mentioned below:

Online Mode

To finish the application process online, follow these steps:

1. At first, visit the official website of the University and click on the ‘Enquire Now-Admission’ tab.
2. In the new page that appears, choose the ‘Register here with CHARUSAT’ button.
3. Now, fill the asked details in the registration form and verify the mobile number / email address.
4. Now, access the application form by logging in, provide requisite details accurately in the respective fields, and upload the asked documents for verification.

Offline Mode

Students who desire to apply for admission through offline mode need to visit the Admission Office of the University and obtain the form. They have to fill in the same and attach the necessary documents.

1. Further, students have to pay the requisite application fees and submit the form.
2. The concerned authorities will then issue an offer letter to the shortlisted students and will publish a merit list on the official website.
3. The selected students have to pay the respective program fees in order to confirm their admission seats.
4. The enrollment number of the concerned students and IDs will be generated.
5. Lastly, the final list of the admitted students will be submitted by the constituent units to the University for approval and record.

Selection Criteria

The CHARUSAT University admission seats of various courses will be filled solely on the basis of merit marks of students in the prescribed last qualifying examination & entrance test, as applicable.

Reservation Criteria

The Charotar University of Science and Technology follows the reservation norms of ACPC and other regulatory bodies for filling the admission seats for various academic programs.

* For the NRI students, 15% seats are reserved under the NRI / NRI-Sponsored Quota.

CHARUSAT Merit Scholarship Scheme

Students who meet the following eligibility conditions will be eligible for 100% CHARUSAT University scholarship in tuition fee under this scheme:

• For B.Tech students: Secured ACPC rank up to 15,000.
• For M.Tech (Computer Science) students: Obtained more than or equal to 8 CGPA in B.Tech / B.E.
