My opinion on Charotar University of Science and Technology

Overall Rating
Hassle free life with hostel facility for boys and girls available nearby. Good quality food for girl’s student as hostel resides within campus ensuring safety as well. Revised syllabus help student align their knowledge to the industrial applications. The culture and inclusive learning is the most attractive part.
 

Academics Rating
Active lab facilities like power electronics, network theory, arduino and microcontroller, RF and microwave labs are available for practical learning. For freshers 60% in their board’s as well competitive exams is passing criteria and also various scholarships are available from college end. Electronics and Semiconductor is a field which is booming in India currently with about a trillion dollar investment in Gujarat. One can always shift to IT field as electronics is a combination of electrical concepts and programming.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the professors are from Gujarat and are well experienced in the field. Smart boards are utilized for daily lectures and interactive sessions. Also the timetable isn’t boring, as includes labs and lectures in equal proportions. The course structure has been regulated each year to match current trends i.e. robotics, AI or automations which are availed as minor courses too.
 

Placement Rating
Yes there's TNP cell present which avails On-campus opportunities to 3rd & 4th year students in every department to enroll in the listed companies contacted via them. From Training students in Aptitude, Technical and behavioral rounds, the university ensures a greater platform is availed to students with various companies. Student coordinators and Department coordinators (professors) handle the placement procedure ensuring smooth on-boarding.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostels are available for both Girl (inside campus) & Boy student (outside campus) at feasible rates. AC & Non-AC rooms availed with daily cleaning. Mess avails hygienic and nutritious food (unlimited) throughout week. Laundry services are also available in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Spacious and well structured class rooms to accommodate 100 students per class. AC, smart boards and speakers are also available. Every department has been allotted a separate floor covering 7-8 classrooms. Nearby drinking area and Washroom facilities are good. Libraries and management buildings are built around center to support student’s academic.
 

Campus Rating
Various clubs like robotic, code for cause, dance and drama, photography, etc. are there to keep students engaged and motivated. Sports facilities include volleyball, basketball and cricket grounds and various indoor sports such as table tennis, chess and carom. Approximately one university level program is conducted every 3 months. Workshops and expert talks are also organised in order to be in touch with alumini.

  • Charusat is like a grand palace

    Charusat is one of the top universities in Anand. Going to Anand from Ahmedabad was like a step back as there are many MBA colleges in Ahmedabad as well. If I had admissions in my desired college, I wouldn't have relocated to Anand. However, I am not disappointed at all and perhaps happy that I came here.   • CHARUSAT campus is quite lucrative

    CHARUSAT is one of the top universities in Gujarat. The university is much better than many of its counterparts. Charotar University is accomplished I nurturing not just academic but personal and social values in students. All this looks fine until the placements are done and here the university hasn’t delivered as per its reputation.     I have studied in Charotar University to do bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from 2014 to 2018. This college has best faculties having master degree and also PhD degree in their respected field. Every faculty provides best knowledge in respected subjects.
