Academics of this Institute are really great. It is not only based on theories but also provide practical exposure to the students. You can choose electives as per your interest. The subjects are not theory based but they more based on case studies. The trimester system is a bit fast but you will get used to it. The students can take admission through CAT, XAT, and CMAT. The course is of trimester unit. One has quizzes, mid semester and end semester as evaluation and then the marking is done on relative basis. A student needs to follow and maintain a specific grade to sustain here. The minimum CAT/XAT/CMAT percentile is average and the evaluation further is through WAT (written test) then interview round for showing personality. The screening tests and interviews are not that tough to crack but one needs to be fluent and confident. Further, the institute holds accreditations from foreign institutes as well.

Academics started with a flourish and ended with a flourish too as we just sprinted through the studies. I was absolutely delighted with the academics here as the schedule was magnificently designed because along with classes a lot more things were included in our schedule. A weekly work-shop, a bi-weekly seminar, and a monthly industrial visit. End of the first year meant a mandatory internship provided by the college itself. For students who have entrepreneurial drive GLIM can serve as the best colleges because the incubation centre of the college has funded around 50 projects from my batch.
