Flame School of Business Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Pune

It was a Villa converted into a hostel. The hostel was amid the backdrop of mountains, so the dream of having its own bungalow in the mountains was somehow fulfilled at Flames. Now coming to the facilities that the hostel has, it had a garden right next to it. There were chairs, and we could prolong our chats there for as long as we wanted. There was a games room where a TV with limited channels was made available to us. The hostels are labeled as the first year and second year, so we had to change the hostels again in the second year. MBA is a pure residential program and the hostel on that account became a compulsion. The hostel blocks were beautiful and MBA students were given rooms on a twin-sharing basis. For the second we were to choose our room partners as during the first year the students were chosen randomly. This was a help as the one with whom we had good camaraderie eventually shared the room. Each room had a balcony and there was a nice lawn in front of the hostel building. We could spend time on lawn even during the twilight. There was a boundary which couldn’t be crossed but if we stayed in the limits the hostel was never boring. The food was good as it didn’t just have a Maharashtrian menu. Yes, Chowli ki sabzi was served more than it should be but otherwise, there’s no problem with the food. The staff hostel was nearby so loud music and partying at the hostel was not possible.Read Full Review

It is safe to call them flats because a balcony and a separate living area was there in each room. There were only 2 students allowed in a room and we had the option of choosing our room-mates. People mostly came in pairs as the college is little far away and staying alone and making friends could have been tougher and that must have been the thought process I believe because most of the students brought their friends along. No complaints with the hostel whatsoever as I stayed in 2 different buildings both the years and both were highly equipped and clean.Read Full Review
