NIT Delhi B.Tech Fees Structure 2026 & Admission Process

I choose Aerospace Engineering as my course here. This is the first year in NIT Delhi that Aerospace branch is introduced. The eligibility is through JEE Main and you need at least 99 percentile to get into this institute. The examinations are held twice in a semester, one is mid sem examination and the other is end sem examination. There is continuous evaluation for every subject, through which you can develop your ability. The academic facilities here are so nice and wonderful. The academics here are taught very much related to the course and sometimes they take us to Aerospace Laboratories too.

The fees is Rs. 1,50,000 per semester. This includes Rs. 81,000 academic fees Rs. 28,000 of hostel fees for AC room and Rs. 18,000 for non-AC. In addition, you need to pay Rs. 4000 separately for mess, per month.Read Full Review

I have chosen Electronics and Communication Engineering, as I am very much interested in this course. Dealing with Chipsets, Circuits and all will give you unique experience learning all about new things. The entry into this institute for any course is only through JEE Main. In addition, you need at least 99 percentile in JEE Main for getting into this institute for my branch i.e. ECE. Here in this institute the faculty is very cooperative and will support you to grow and develop new skills in you. You will be encouraged to engage in every event like Hackathon etc. Coming to the exams there is continuous evaluation along with the mid sem and end sem examinations which helps the student in understanding the concepts much better.

For a General Category student like me, the tuition/ academic fees are around Rs. 81,000 per semester. In addition, if you want hostel you need to pay extra Rs.18,000 (for non-AC) and Rs. 28,000 (for AC). Along with this as you, live in hostel you need to pay Rs. 3,800 per month as mess bill. The curriculum is in line with current trends in the sector and technological advancements. However, due to the institution's relatively new status, some students may feel that some of the research resources and facilities are still underdeveloped compared to older NITs in general. Students can have a good academic experience. But it also requires students to actively seek out additional learning opportunities.

Income and category based fee structure is available (per semester) in this institute. Fee of this institute is less in comparison to other institutes in Delhi. If income is less than 1 LPA, tuition fee of PwD, SC, and ST categories is nil but other charge will be taken. If income is in between 1 to 5 LPA, than fee is Rs. 40,000.
