Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara B.Tech Fees Structure 2026 & Admission Process

I am pursuing B.Tech in CSE. Entry is based on the JEE Main percentile rank with minimum of 98 percentile for general category students and for OBC it is around 97.5 percentile. The admission process is done by the JoSAA/CSAB rounds. In a year we have 2 semesters here. In a single semester we have two main exams, one during the middle of the semester and another at the end. The mid sem comprises around 30% and end sem around 45% weightage, it differs according to the Professors choice. While preparing for these semester examinations, we would definitely learn to manage the time.

The fee for my course at IIIT Vadodara is around Rs. 1,70,000/- per semester, including tuition, registration, and hostel charges. I am from Computer Science. There are 2 courses here: CS and IT. In first 2 years, we have same subjects. In 1st year, you have EC Physics, Information Technology, Math, Humanities. In 2nd year, Computer Science is added, and physics is removed. Entry is based on JEE Main with minimum 98 percentile for general and 97 for OBC and 80 above for SC/ST category. As both are related to computers, you will gain vast support in academic and growth.

I got 98 percentile in my JEE and my preference was IIIT Vadodara. I personally wanted Computer Science. I also had a senior whom I knew from this institute. I got to know from him that this institute would be a great option for Computer Science. The coding environment is really good and the faculty is really a great help. Students help create a great coding culture. There are also technical fests that amuse us. Seniors are really good here. They help their juniors and give good guidance.
