The hostel authorities have set some rules to create a secure and comfortable living space for the students residing at the Rajarajeswari College of Engineering hostel; some of the norms are given below:

• If any student is found guilty of being involved in ragging, bullying, or harassment of any form; then they will be strictly punished.
• Consumption or distribution of any intoxicated substances such as drugs or other such items is banned inside the hostel premises.
• The residents are not allowed to leave the hostel without prior permission from the warden and are supposed to be back by the specified curfew time.
• Boarders should not play loud music in the residential spaces to avoid disturbing any of their fellow inmates.

At the hostel facility provided by the College, rooms are available for the students on a single and sharing basis. Inside the Rajarajeswari College of Engineering Campus, one hostel is available for boys with 83 rooms, accommodating 211 residents and one for girls with 91 rooms having a total accommodation capacity of 234 boarders. The Rajarajeswari College of Engineering hostel rooms are fully-furnished with a bed, study table, chair, almirah, and has an attached washroom.

Rajarajeswari College of Engineering hostel has mess facilities in both the hostels to meet the healthy requirements of the students; also, there are options of tea & coffee for the boarders studying late at night.
