GNA University Reviews

Punjab is one state that has the maximum escape when it comes to education. Many new Universities have come up and even though, Ludhiana which is known as the Manchester of East has no such universities. Phagwara which is a town between Ludhiana and Jalandhar has come up with a world class university that have maximum students from both these cities. I joined GNA in 2020 and could only join the college in November after Diwali as due to Covid the classes, and all were online. November to March was the time when I used to travel daily to the University. The University has provided a bus facility for picking and dropping students to a point in Ludhiana, and that made traveling quite easy as 1 hour used to pass by without even knowing. The University started amid protocols, but we were made aware of the functionality of the University. Education is kept at the top while it’s not the only thing that we will learn at the campus. Ex-students of the college has started some societies and social clubs to be a part of and live the college life thoroughly.Read Full Review

Phagwara is a known town of Punjab but one had to go to nearby cities like Jalandhar or Ludhiana for engineering before GNA University came in. We are privileged to have a University of this kind in our city. GNA is good in terms of education and placements and both are improving gradually. The infrastructure work is still on as the University has laid a roadmap to increase the branches and streams. As of now, Engineering is its main branch and people from nearby villages and towns have started coming to the University as economic wise also it is cheaper than LPU which otherwise was the top choice of the students in this area. In Punjab, it’s nothing or everything. Either people over here will move abroad for studies or will not study at all. The time has started changing as urbanization in the villages is just a matter of time and people have started coming out of the old cliché. The parents have started sending their kids to Universities and want them to educate properly to have a better future. GNA has come to the fore of many and I hope it adds many feathers to its cap in time to come.Read Full Review

GNA University is a recently started for people in Punjab especially living in villages, GNA is a suitable option. GNA University in Phagwara has been started by a big group and the set-up is still going on. I was from the first batch of the college and there were some flaws but I was quite happy with the overall projection and the environment at the college. Born and raised in Phagwara, Delhi is where most students from our town go and study but I chose GNA as the University promised a 100% placement and a lot of exposure but none of that happened. Understandably so because it will take time for a University to grow and at some point, I did felt as if I could have joined LPU or went to Delhi. The academic system was good as we were trained inside the campus by some of the best faculty. The course was brilliant as I compared it with textbooks of my friends from Delhi and LPU and I may sound a little over-ambitious but our course content was perhaps better.Read Full Review
