IIIT Nagpur Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus of IIIT Nagpur is around of one acre of land, it is near to Buttibori in Nagpur. There is an academic block, an administrative block, one ground for football, a basketball court and a badminton court. Library is there, labs are in good condition too, seminar hall, conference hall are present too. A canteen is there in academic block, and medical facility is given, where a doctor sits 24x7. Security guards are present all over the campus, so security condition is good. Indoor games facilities like table tennis, badminton, gym, etc. is provided too. However, outdoor games’ courts are not maintained properly.

Campus Life is good but most parts of the campus are still not developed, many gardens are building. The institution’s crowd is good. We celebrate each and every fiesta in josh and joy. ‘Abhivyakti’ and ‘Tantra’ are our cultural and tech fests. There are clubs like Music, Dance, Drama, Storia, Graphics Club, GDG, and many more. There are currently one Academic and one Administrative Building. The infrastructure is limited but is latest and modern. However, there is Rs. 75 crore rupees granted to the institute for construction of one Academic Block, one seminar hall, and a canteen with a capacity of 200 students and the main gate of the campus which will be constructed within 18 months from the day money is received.

The campus is not crowded, and the vibe is good. Also, people are smart. Clubs are active and there are regular events happening every now and then which allows you to participate and interact with like inded people. There are 3 main fests Tantra Fiesta (Technical Fest), Abhivyakti (Cultural Fest), and Kshitij (Sports Fest). Our college is in phase -3 developments. Till now we have one academic building, one admin building and a hostel for students of 10 floors in which approximately 1500 students stay. And a residential building in which teachers stays. And amphitheater, gym, volleyball court and a small fountain park is also there. Grounds for cricket, football and running track are under development.

Overall our campus infrastructure is in development stage but most of the required things have been made and now making of sports grounds for football and cricket has been started. So yes academic is great it just that they do not have proper hostel in which all students can stay together.Read Full Review
