IIITB has established a Placement Cell which bridges the gap between the academic and corporate standards by providing career guidance and equipping students with essential skills. In addition, the IIIT Bangalore Placement Cell organises recruitment drives by inviting leading companies from different industrial backgrounds in order to provide employment & Internship opportunities to the students.

The cell at IIIT Bangalore provides grooming to the students by conducting various pre-placement activities & programs; some of these are as follows:

The Deemed-to-be University covers around 9 acres of land area and state-of-the-art infrastructure containing several buildings in their premises. Various academic blocks, labs, classrooms, cafeteria, etc. are available at IIIT Bangalore Campus.

The classrooms at IIIT Bangalore are equipped with projectors, smart boards, AV aids, etc. to enhance the learning environment of the students. Besides that, a Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH) is available at the premises containing various recreational facilities.

Apart from this, the University provides below-given facilities to the students at their campus:

• Library: IIITB has a well-stacked library which is equipped with books, journals, printed titles, e-books, etc. and provides numerous services to the students & teaching staff. In addition, online learning materials and databases can be accessed at the library by the students. In addition, adequate seating arrangement is available within the library.
• Laboratories: The University focuses on enhancing the digital skills of the students by setting up ample computer labs at their premises. Moreover, to equip the students with required practical skills & knowledge in their courses, various labs are set up in the departments which include Computer Science & Engineering, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, and others.

• Auditorium: An auditorium is present at the ‘Ramanujan’ block of IIIT Bangalore with sufficient seating arrangement and is used to organise large scale events.
• Seminar Hall: Multiple seminar halls are present at the campus with different seating capacity ranging from 150 to 200 students. Moreover, academic meetings like conferences, interviews, seminars, etc. are conducted in these halls.
• Cafeteria: North Indian, South Indian, and many other cuisines are available at the University’s cafeteria. Apart from this, a bakery, vending machine, and around 2 beverage stalls are set up at the campus of IIIT Bangalore to fulfil the late-night cravings of the students.
• Hostels: Around 3 multi-storeyed residential buildings are present at the University to provide accommodations to the boys and girls. More than 700 rooms are available within the IIIT Bangalore Hostels. In addition, numerous facilities such as furnished rooms in multiple occupancies, mess, separate gyms, etc. are provided to the students staying in hostels.
• Sports: Several indoor games like Table-Tennis, Carrom, Chess, Indoor Badminton Courts, and other such amenities are provided to the students at the campus. In addition to this, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, Tennis Court, Throwball Court, and multiple playgrounds, etc. are available for outdoor games. Apart from this, multiple gyms are set up by the University in different areas of the campus.
• Healthcare Facilities: An infirmary is present at the campus to provide immediate first-aid treatment to the students and other staff members. Moreover, qualified doctors visit the campus on specified timings and days. Apart from this, the University has linked with nearby hospitals for further treatment and to avail the ambulance facility.
