Infrastructure was awesome and added that the campus looked even more beautiful with the pleasant weather of Bangalore. Along with scenic beauty, the campus had modern art as all the buildings were modern as digital locks, CCTV cameras, ECT enables classrooms and a digital library. In gist, the college has imposed all the possible technologies that one can in a college. I immediately fell in love with the college’s infrastructure as the indoor sporting facilities and beautiful canteen, which was our go-to place, were of unmatched quality. I have been to several other colleges, but no one comes close to IIITB in terms of infrastructure.
First of all, everyone was treated equally at the campus and there was no discrimination done based on the state they come from or the cast they belonged to. The college had a culture where every student would wish each other during the festivals, and college events were the best platform to showcase our technical and non-technical skills. One thing that I feel should be associated with campus life is that you should always miss it. I left the college nearly three years back, and to date, I dream of my days spent there.Read Full Review
If one wants to see a modern piece of art then they should just visit IIITB campus just for fun. All the buildings are so well maintained and are technically the soundest. The college library was a bit small but since it was a digital library, we all had access to many books digitally as well. The classrooms were generous in size and one student can enjoy the single bench with their personal plug in point. I doubt if there’s any other college that has such classrooms. The college doesn’t have a proper playground and that probably is the only drawback because for students like me who wants to run on tracks rather than treadmills doesn’t have an option. The college though has a modern gym inside the campus with almost all the gym equipment's.
Life at IIITB was cooler than the weather of Bangalore. Just kidding as Bangalore weather was mostly hot. Smartest of brains around meant that I could learn a lot not just through studies but from my fellow students as well. Not much in terms of cultural events but in terms of technical learning IIITB was the best.Read Full Review
Area is less comparatively but college is located in one of the most developed areas in Bangalore. We always felt like we are going to office as Electronic city has all the IT companies offices. Electronic city I guess should be named as magnet city because it has attracted all our college students as our entire batch is working in the same area where our college was. College’s infrastructure can be described by saying marvelous because from buildings to facilities it had everything that can be termed the best. Labs were up to date and even some of the machineries were imported from other countries. Not many colleges do that but luckily IIITB has handsome budget in their hands. Canteen was the next thing where we spent a nice chunk of our college life and dosas at the canteen were loved by our friends from North East and Gujarat as these two places students had literally captured the college with their presence.
It always used to be an eventful morning because the schedule was never planned. We were surprised on most days as people from corporate would come and meet us. Giving lectures on how their companies have grown in stature and how engineers have made it happen. These things gave us confidence and made us believe that we did the right decision of becoming engineers. Campus life was fun as we had many technical and non-technical events throughout the year.Read Full Review
