Overall Rating
The institute has its own permanent Campus of 100 acres. It has an average package of 14 LPA in CSE and 12 LPA in the ECE branch. The institute is very placement oriented and focuses heavily on academics. Institute is nearby IT hubs like Pune and Hyderabad. The institute has active clubs and provides an amazing exposure attracting talent from all over the country.
 

Academics Rating
The JOSAA round 5 cut off for the institute was 37,000 for the ECE branch. New courses are introduced every year to make the students industry ready. Curriculum is regularly updated as per the industry needs like the Introduction of IOT Specialization in ECE branch and Gaming, Human Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in Computer Science branch has been newly introduced.
 

Faculty Rating
The facilities in the ECE branch are all Ph.D holders from reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The faculties are passionate and helpful. The faculties are willing to have an open discussion regarding the future opportunities in Computer Science and Electronics. They have an amazing teaching style, and their lectures are jaw dropping.
 

Placement Rating
The average package of Computer Science department was 14 lakhs and 12 lakhs from Electronics and Communication Engineering department. The institute has a Placement Cell attracting companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. for campus placements with the highest package of 90 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
All students can't be accommodated in the campus, so students have to live off campus in private hostels like DIA hospitality, Shembekar Boys’ Hostel, etc. Options of private hostels are limited with not more than 4 options in Butibori.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are currently one Academic and one Administrative Building. The infrastructure is limited but is latest and modern. However, there is Rs. 75 crore rupees granted to the institute for construction of one Academic Block, one seminar hall, and a canteen with a capacity of 200 students and the main gate of the campus which will be constructed within 18 months from the day money is received.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is not crowded, and the vibe is good. Also, people are smart. Clubs are active and there are regular events happening every now and then which allows you to participate and interact with like inded people. There are 3 main fests Tantra Fiesta (Technical Fest), Abhivyakti (Cultural Fest), and Kshitij (Sports Fest). Every fest is really amazing, and the institute’s ambience is really electrifying.

    Academic is good and faculty are supportive here. Indoor and outdoor games facilities are there. Package is good likewise in other IIITs. The factors for which I have chosen this institute are its better placement statistics and good academics and is located in Nagpur too.     IIIT Nagpur is a public-private partnership based institute, an institute of national importance. Being an IIIT, I chose this college. Here, the experience is decent. Campus life is average and the infrastructure is good as far as academic and administrative buildings are concerned. Faculties are highly qualified and are good in terms of teaching; course curriculum is well designed for students of every branch.     You will find the overall college life somewhere between average to good, in this college you can experience the campus life only if you are staying in the college hostel. I am saying this because only limited seats are there in the college hostel for freshers.     I chose IIITN because of the various reasons listed here: 1. I did not get any other top college better than this college. 2. This institute has a tag of national importance, which is a good thing. 3. The institute has a big campus area of 100 acres which is greater than many IIITs. 4.
