Overall Rating
IIIT Nagpur is a public-private partnership based institute, an institute of national importance. Being an IIIT, I chose this college. Here, the experience is decent. Campus life is average and the infrastructure is good as far as academic and administrative buildings are concerned. Faculties are highly qualified and are good in terms of teaching; course curriculum is well designed for students of every branch. Students can choose this institute if they prefer a government college and IIIT tag.
 

Academics Rating
Academics is decent here, there are multiple courses here such as CSE, CSE with specialisation in data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning, gaming, and also ECE with specialisation in IOT as well. To get enrolled in this program you need to secure a good rank in JEE Mains exam and meet the cut-off requirements. Talking about the courses, they are good and helpful. The courses are emerging in the future and one should enrol in these to get good placements.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties here are highly qualified and are Ph.D scholars from reputed institutes. Faculties are divided into sections for teaching such as Basic Sciences, CSE, and ECE. They are decent enough to teach you your subjects. Many of them have good experience in teaching in the past and they are full of knowledge. Style of teaching varies but all of them are capable enough.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a dedicated Placement Cell in the institute. Their goal is to connect various companies’ offers and requirements to the students prepared for placements. Many students in the past have fetched good placements with the highest package of 90 LPA. It really helps the students to acquire jobs in the industry.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel life is very good. The hostel is nice with decent facilities provided to students such as gym, game room, water coolers, laundry service, canteen, stores, etc. Infrastructure is also good with a 10 floor building. Regular cleaning takes place and proper hygiene is maintained.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is average at this institute. There are basically four buildings which are; the academic block, administrative block, residential block, and a hostel. Except this, you cannot expect much from the campus. The buildings are good and well equipped with facilities. Classrooms are good and furnished. Proper hi-tech labs and Wi-Fi are there. Library and seminar halls are there. Lift facilities and water cooler are some basic amenities provided here.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is decent. Apart from the infrastructure, the crowd and fests are good. The crowd is amazing and bright. Various clubs are also run by the seniors for dance, music, debate, photography, art, etc. which enhance the engagement between students. The cultural and technical fests namely Abhivyakti and Tantrafiesta respectively are nicely organised and are exciting. Students also engage in different college activities and opportunities provided at every step.

    Academic is good and faculty are supportive here. Indoor and outdoor games facilities are there. Package is good likewise in other IIITs. The factors for which I have chosen this institute are its better placement statistics and good academics and is located in Nagpur too.     The institute has its own permanent Campus of 100 acres. It has an average package of 14 LPA in CSE and 12 LPA in the ECE branch. The institute is very placement oriented and focuses heavily on academics. Institute is nearby IT hubs like Pune and Hyderabad.     Indian Institute of Information and Technology Nagpur is one the well-known IIIT. As we all know that we select college on the basis of infrastructure and placements as well as on internship. Yes my college also promotes IT workshop and also sponsors the children for participating in various hackathons held in various parts of country.     You will find the overall college life somewhere between average to good, in this college you can experience the campus life only if you are staying in the college hostel. I am saying this because only limited seats are there in the college hostel for freshers.     I chose IIITN because of the various reasons listed here: 1. I did not get any other top college better than this college. 2. This institute has a tag of national importance, which is a good thing. 3. The institute has a big campus area of 100 acres which is greater than many IIITs. 4. I wanted to take the Computer Science and Engineering branch which is one of the major reasons why I chose this college.
