IIIT Kottayam Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

There are 2 academic blocks, which consists of classrooms and academic related offices. Campus size is average. Seating capacity in each classroom is good. Seminar hall and conference hall are spacious. Library is good with good number of available books. 4 canteens are available in the campus premises. Medical facilities are good. All the other facilities were decent. There are 2 gyms available with all good equipment.

The campus life is average to good. In my course, there are 941 students and 521 students in 1st year. Adhavya, Apoorv, and some other events are organized here. Inter-sports competitions are organized here.Read Full Review

The overall review of infrastructure is good and positive. The campus is thoughtfully designed to provide a holistic learning experience, with modern facilities, a serene environment and focus on academic excellence. The academic blocks at are modern and well equipped, designed to facilitate a conducive learning in good place. The classrooms are good and have lot of very free place is there. The seating capacity varies around 50 to 150 members in one classroom, depending on the course requirements. In AIDS department, most of the classrooms are equipped with projectors, audio systems, and good white boards. The auditorium has a seating capacity of over 300 members & students. It hosts cultural events, conferences, and guest lecturer. The advanced facilities bridge and a well-stocked library with a diverse collection of books and journals, research materials along with the digital access to databases and online libraries support extensive research and study.

Institute has 2 academic blocks. The new one and the old one. Various labs are found with a Library and as I stated, Campus is a bit small for what they mentioned in the website but enough for numerous students. We got different sports ground, 2 badminton courts, and an OAT (Open Air Theatre). Campus is situated next to a village called Vallavoor hence the locality is quite peaceful. We’ve got 3 Canteens Milma, Migloo and Millet.

For the first year over all campus life was great and constant improvements were being done to the campus so hopefully in coming days it'll get far better. We’ve got various fests to interact with fellow students and seniors. Some of these fests are APOORV for even sems and ADAVYA for off sems. IIIT Kottayam is filled with students and clubs to keep them engaged. I've had a wonderful institute life so far and I am expecting it to get better.Read Full Review
