IIIT Kottayam: Fee Structure, Faculty, and Campus Life

My experience at IIIT Kottayam has been enriching and fulfilling. The institute provides an excellent academic environment in a serene and campus was awesome with a good & pleasant nature and good weather condition. The factor that made me choose this particular university is because of nature and area, which is very beautiful. The people around this locality are very good. Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam has good faculty.

At IIIT Kottayam, I have chosen CSE Computer Science & Engineering in core subject. The students can choose from range of Undergraduate, Graduate, and Doctoral program and mainly predominately focusing on CSE, DS, and ECE. In an Undergraduate program (B.Tech), the admission is through JEE Main scores. Students must have passed 12th standards with Physics, Chemistry, and Oath. Postgraduate program admissions are valid through GATE score in relevant discipline in addition to the Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with a minimum qualifying percentage.

The fee structure is competitive, considering the quality of education and infrastructure provided. The fee is paid on the semester basis for all courses. Here, the total fee is estimated to be 16 Lakh for all the 8 semesters.

The information about faculty member is that they are highly qualified professionals with diverse academic and research. Their background is very good and very peaceful family members. Many are part of professional organization like IEEE and CSI. The teacher and student ratio is decent here. Yeah I have a good bond with the faculty members. They approach in a good manner and behave with a good mentality.

The average package in CSE is 15 LPA. The packages in CSE are good and satisfy the students. The average package ranges from 12 to 15 LPA. Highest package is 50 LPA.

Yes, the institute offers residential facilities for students providing a comfortable and a secure environment for learning and living. In one room, there are 2 to 3 members and it can be said that it is very comfortable for each one of them to live.

The overall review of infrastructure is good and positive. The campus is thoughtfully designed to provide a holistic learning experience, with modern facilities, a serene environment and focus on academic excellence. The academic blocks at are modern and well equipped, designed to facilitate a conducive learning in good place. The classrooms are good and have lot of very free place is there. The seating capacity varies around 50 to 150 members in one classroom, depending on the course requirements. In AIDS department, most of the classrooms are equipped with projectors, audio systems, and good white boards. The auditorium has a seating capacity of over 300 members & students. It hosts cultural events, conferences, and guest lecturer. The advanced facilities bridge and a well-stocked library with a diverse collection of books and journals, research materials along with the digital access to databases and online libraries support extensive research and study.

The campus ensures that students are well prepared for both professional and personal growth. Conferences, events, and seminars allow students to have external exposure also. Overall, the campus life is quite satisfactory and amazing.
