Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Chandigarh campus has a lush green surrounding and it covers a land area of approximately 15 acres. Separate multi-storeyed blocks are there at the campus that includes around 3 academic (Arts, Science & Postgraduate), administrative, and others.
The campus of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Chandigarh contains several amenities like smart classrooms, advanced laboratories, multiple libraries, sports grounds & courts, separate accommodations, health centre, cafeterias, etc.
The College has adequate academic spaces at the campus such as around 55 classrooms with spacious seating arrangement. - Library: Students can sharpen their academic knowledge by accessing the two-storeyed ‘Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha Library’ of the College that has 51,000+ books, nearly 41 subscribed journals, around 20 magazines, 16+ newspapers collection, and many other academic materials. Around 10 computer systems are set up in the Digital Corner of the library to provide access to the online material including more than 37,00,000 e-books, 28,964 + e-journals, etc and few other e-resources.
The library is segregated into different sections for periodicals, circulation, binding, stack area, property counter, and a few others. The reading area at the library has an accommodation capacity of approximately 52 students at a time. Several departmental reference libraries are present at the campus to help students get extensive knowledge in their respective domain.
- Laboratories: There are multiple computer labs within the academic departments with advanced configuration in PCs & 100 Mbps internet speed. The departments of Chemistry, Zoology, Biotechnology, and others have nearly 24 laboratories including Zoology lab, Chemistry lab, Biotechnology lab, Physics labs, etc. The College has set up these high-tech labs to promote ‘application-based learning’ among the students.
- Sports: To ensure that students grow holistically, the College provides required sports facilities to the students under the Department of Physical Education. There is an Indoor Sports Room at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Chandigarh campus with Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom Board, and other amenities. Various other facilities are provided for outdoor games as well that includes Baseball Ground, Basketball Courts (2), Volleyball Court, Ball Badminton Court, Archery Range, Football Ground, and others.
- Hostels: The College has built ‘Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Boys’ Hostel’ and ‘Mata Kheevi Girls’ Hostel’ within the premises with rooms in double, triple, and other occupancies.
