    Fee Structure and Scholarships at MDU Rohtak
    My cousin has already done B.Tech from Maharshi Dayanand University. She told me about this university and she is the only motivation for me to take admission here. You can take admission here through JEE Mains exam or physical counselling. Exams are not so hard here.
    If we talk about fees structure here it is taken semester wise. My semester fees were Rs. 45,512 and 2nd sem fees is Rs. 41,580. The registration fees and other charges are included in 1st sem fees. There is a special discount given to reserved category. Some problem is faced by general category students. Scholarship is available here but it has a very little amount that cannot help the student.Read Full Review

    MDU Rohtak B.Tech Program Fee Structure and Admission Insights
    In the first year, you will study five subjects and do three lab sessions. The class schedule isn't hectic with about 4-5 hours of classes daily. Attendance rules require 75%, but they're not rigid, and you can manage with valid excuses. The university offers seven branches of engineering, and CSE is most in-demand. Admission depends on JEE Mains scores, and getting into CSE might require a better rank compared to other branches. The curriculum gives enough free time to work on your skills and interests.
    The year-wise fee is Rs. 80,000 - Rs. 85,000 approx. You are supposed to pay around Rs. 45,000 for the 1st semester at the time of admission, including all kind of different charges like admission fee, exam fee, caution money, etc. Since I am not from Haryana, I was treated as a general candidate without any reservation benefits and 15% of the total seats are available for the outer state students. The entire fee I will be paying for the course will be around Rs. 3, 22,000 which is different in case you are a SC/ST student from Haryana, a state topper or Kashmiri migrant.Read Full Review

    A Must Read Before Coming to MDU, Rohtak for B.Tech
    So in the first year, you have five subjects and three labs, you won't have to face strict 9-5 time here so if you can, you can dedicate these hours to improve yourself. Almost every day you will have an average of 4-5 hours of classes. The attendance policy is 75% but not strict, all manageable with minimal excuses. There are 7 branches for engineering namely, CSE, AIML, ECE, EE, ME, CE, and BT. All branches with a capacity of 60 students except CSE and ME with a capacity of 120 students. But in reality you will find about 15-20 extra students in each class. To get admitted you will need JEE exam result where you will easily get CSE for about 2.5 lakh, AIML up to 3 lakh, ECE up to 4.5 lakh, and in the lower branches you will get a chance even if you have passed 12th only.
