At SCC Bangalore, separate ‘home-away-from-home’ accommodation facilities are available for male and female students. The St. Claret College has 2 hostel complexes for girls and 1 for boys. Basic amenities are accessible helping the students live a comfortable life at the hostel.

The students residing at the St. Claret College hostel should follow the rules set by the hostel authorities. This helps in maintaining discipline and creating a comfortable living space for the hostellers.

Some of the rules for the students to abide by are given below:

• Ragging is strictly banned in the accommodation premises; there is an Anti-Ragging Committee operating on campus and in the hostel to deal with any student found guilty.
• Students are not allowed to use any electrical appliances in the hostel rooms.
• If any boarder is found under the influence or in possession of any intoxicated substance such as drugs, alcohol, etc. then they will face a strict punishment.
• Hostellers are not allowed to stay outside the hostel premises after the specified curfew time.
• Students should avoid bringing any expensive item in the hostel since the authorities will not be responsible for any lost item.
• All the hostel furniture should be taken care of; destruction of any hostel property will lead to severe punishment.
• Residents of the hostel should not play loud music or create any noise which causes disturbance of their inmates.

There is a separate accommodation facility for the male and female students.. There are 2 hostels for girls administered by Reverend Sisters and 1 hostel for boys under direct administration of College with a 24/7 warden. St. Claret College hostel rooms are furnished with basic amenities such as bed, table, chair, and wardrobe.

‘Maria Nilaya’ (girls’ hostel) is located on the St. Claret College Campus, providing double and triple sharing occupancy rooms. ‘Monica Sadan / Study House’ (girls’ hostel) is located right outside the campus; here, rooms are offered in double, triple, and quadruple sharing basis to the boarders. The boys’ hostel is located around 100 meters from the campus and the rooms are available in a 3-seater occupancy.

Furthermore, mess facilities are available at the St. Claret College hostel to meet the nutritional requirements of students. Here, the meals are prepared under hygienic conditions.
