Their degrees and work experience counted, but I was impressed with the visiting faculties who came and taught us for one trimester in the entire year. They were teaching simultaneously at IIM Ahmedabad, and other B-Schools of the country, so they would also update us about the kind of things which our course didn't cover. So, if I could narrow down the visiting faculties and the permanent faculties, I would rate the visiting faculty much higher than that of the permanent ones. Faculty of MICA has the power to push students to accept the challenge of doing extra. The faculty will always ask that you go a bit harder, as I have seen your potential, and you can. So, they kept motivating us in the best possible ways. Faculties always managed to pick the right way to teach students by creating that atmosphere. There were few professors with whom I felt the most comfortable with; I asked them all my queries because I didn't want to be someone who would take a backseat and see the proceedings. So, I will acknowledge the faculty for pushing us because I couldn't have known my potential if my faculties here hadn't discovered it.Read Full Review

By any stretch, I don't see a single issue with the faculties. Yes, I felt bad when they didn't like my presentations; I felt bad when they continued the classes after the designated hours. I felt bad when they took us on tours, but when I see all this by putting myself in their shoes, I get all my answers. When I thought, ok, they have done their best; a new best from them would come up. They knew how exactly to take us away from the tough situation and kudos to them for that. For all those who think management studies are easy, as MBA students are seen enjoying. I would urge them to live life a little extra ordinary in a B-School for a week and then judge.Read Full Review
