IIIT Sonipat Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The Institute is located near Delhi, Noida, and Gurgaon. Our classes are running in SBIT. In the transit campus, all the classes have AC facilities and projectors. We have proper labs and Wi-Fi facilities. The Basketball court, Football ground, Volleyball court, and Badminton court are also available. The campus has a library, auditorium, and canteen. The indoor sports room is also there.

Overall campus life is good. There are some clubs such as Impact club, Photography club, etc. I am also a member of Impact club. From my Institute many teams go for competitions in other Institutions. The Institute organise a sports fest called Agnito. Our seniors also conducts an inter hostel sports competition. In this fest the students living in SBIT hostel can participate. Some festivals are also organise in this Institute such as Janmashtami, etc.Read Full Review

Currently IIIT Sonepat is temporarily running inside a rented building block of SBIT, but its own campus is under construction and would definitely be completed in 2025. In the temporary campus, all the facilities are provided to the students, with well equipped labs, digital and AC classrooms, libraries, etc. Hostels are also provided inside the temporary campus, with playground, sports facilities, AC facilities and CCTV cameras.

Campus life is not that flashy and attractive here, since it is an IIIT which focuses mainly on academics. But still there is "Agnito" which is a sports fest, besides that there are many events such as inter/intra hostel competitions, festival celebrations, and more. Hackathons and other coding events are also arranged by the college for the students, and clubs like 'Impact club' manages all the events/fests. The college does not have its own campus at this time as it is under construction. Currently, the classes are held in the SBIT college building for all four-year students. The college is set to have its own campus by 2025 in Sonipat. There is one canteen, one football ground, and volleyball and basketball ground in the SBIT-owned campus.

The campus life is average. First and second-year students stay in the SBIT hostel, while third-year students reside in Stanford Hostel, which is 1 km away from the campus. Fourth-year students and girls stay in the IIT Delhi Technopark campus. The college hosts two main fests, a technical fest, and a sports fest, in the month of March every year. Additionally, there are many clubs such as the coding club, and photography club in the college.Read Full Review
