IIIT Sonipat: My Perspective about its Amenities & Academics

Overall Rating
IIIT Sonipat is a nice institution. The professors are hardworking, and so are the students. One thing that impresses me of this Institute is the timeline that it follows. There are also so many farmhouses near the Institute. In addition, the food quality in the mess is so good. I genuinely recommend other students to join this one.
 

Academics Rating
Overall academics are very good. For admission, students are required to appear in JEE Main. The curriculum does help us gain industry relevant and real life knowledge.
The fee is not so high; For my course, it is Rs. 1,00,000/- per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
Our faculty is alumni of IITs, BITS, and many renowned foreign institutes. They teach us through real-life examples and cutting-edge technology, which helps us to grab and make our neural sensory help to expand their capability.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostel facilities are provided by the Institute for the students who live away from their home town. Furthermore, rooms in these hostels are available, single, double & triple occupancy.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Institute campus is located in a prime location, which is 10 KMs away from Sonipat. All the amenities are top notch. Some of such amenities like library, computer labs, Wi-Fi, sports grounds, and many more. The classrooms have projectors, AV aids, and other. My favorite part is library as it has peaceful atmosphere & many books.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at the IIIT Sonipat is so good. You can be enrolled many clubs to take part in and upgrade your skills. Many events like Agni, hackathons, quizzes, etc., take place. Our students are so talented that many of them do internships in just their second year.

  • The academics and overall environment of IIIT Sonipat is great

    I am currently in my first year in this college, and overall crowd and environment is pretty good. There is greenery everywhere. Teachers are helpful and seniors are helpful too. Placement opportunities are provided on campus. Although many fests are not organized which is the case in almost every IIIT other than that, there is a sports fest that is organised every year....     My overall experience at the institute is above average. The college has a great coding culture. It regularly conducts coding contests known as Algozenith. The seniors are very supportive, and the faculties are also great. The only negative aspect of this college is that it does not have its own campus. Classes are held in the building of SBIT college.     I studied hard for JEE mains but unfortunately couldn't get enough rank to get in food IIT, NIT, IIIT as I wanted to study CS/IT only and getting it into these tier 1 college need rank below 20k. In 2019 there weren’t many reviews available, so I got trapped in IIIT Sonipat. Also, earlier this college was mentored nit Kurukshetra so classes of IIIT Sonipat were running in nit campus only but in 2019 we got separated and we were forced to stay in 5-star hotel type college.
